2014 Epcot Food and Wine Festival 9/19-11/10

i'm looking for the 2014 map, too. i'm like you, working on creating a list of pavilions and food booths in the order of how we will be walking around Epcot, then a back-up list of the food for each of those booths in order. Then we're going to highlight the food we really want to try. Don't want to miss anything super yummy.

i would think someone would be able to snag a current map. Or, they should be out tomorrow.

I like how you think!

Right now I'm messing with fonts and the size of the table for the checklist. I'd like to have one side running clockwise around the world showcase; the other side counter clockwise. I'm trying to fit in 3 items per booth, descriptions, and prices.

We have an index card with all the booths and yes/no/maybe rankings. Once I can get the table made, I'll copy all of that and color code it.

I can't decide whether to just omit the few booths we're skipping entirely.

If I find a map, I'll come back here and link it.

Somebody who is at Epcot walking around the Festival wrote on Twitter that the beer pours are only 4 ounces at the booths and no souvenir mugs this year.

If that ends up being the case, this will not go over well with A LOT of folks (myself included). Look for chaos during the 1st Saturday.

As long as I can still get a 12-16 oz unibroue at Canada, I'll probably focus on the food and get a smaller beer here or there. If they remove the larger beers at the non-F&W kiosk locations, this may well be my last F&W Fest

It have a friend that will be there by 2pm when the booths are expected to start opening.

She will probably report back here. But if I don't see it I will post what she says as soon as I hear.

Thanks!

What size were the cups used for the beer flights? It makes me wonder if they will be charging $3.50 for the small flight cups which I think were 3 or 4 oz. I'm not going til late Oct so it will be interesting to see how this pans out.

Does that mean that they aren't going to have the souvenir mugs?

At the booths, yes. If indeed all booths will sell nothing larger than a 6 ounce pour (although some on here seem to be indicating that the prices posted so far are in fact for 4 ounce pours - we shall see, because if that is the case then they are charging last year's 6 oz prices for a 4 oz pour), then there will be no way for them to sell souvenir steins.

We don't yet know about the Odyssey where the craft beers are, or the Festival Center.

Beers and Ears is out now saying 6 oz pours for single samples and 4 oz for flights (16 oz per flight). No souvenir steins

Yup, I see it on the menu posted on the Disneyfoodblog. Not sure how I feel about this yet. I'm happy to see the price a lot cheaper for the smaller servings but I feel I am going to be spending a lot more time in lines this year :goodvibes

I was hoping they would have the Premium areas on the map. I guess I will just have to wait for reports from actual people to get that info. :thumbsup2

I just passed one. This is not going to be a hit if they are all like that. Next to Morroco (sorry for spelling). In sun, stand up tables only.

I made it! The lines are really short and the food is delicious! We've only made it to Mexico so far and I'm feeling full. Luckily I'm here till Tuesday!

2nd sighting. In handicapped Illuminations viewing area across from the train in Germany. I saw standup tables only. There is an umbrella Ion one of the tables. 4 to 5 tables per area. Third one is on the other side of Germany Iacross from Brewers collection. This one is in the shade still standup tables. If I see anymore I'll post tonight I'm to go eat and drink. Beer is limited to The small sizes. This year they have I wine glass you can buy instead of a beer stein

I have no problems with standing tables. Some will. I know of at least one person who needed regular tables plus chairs for handicapped access (I think they don't care to stand all the time while the disabled person has to stay seated, and a person in a wheelchair can't pull up to a standing table). Will be interested to see the areas.

Plastic wine glass? I would assume so.
