Is there typically a discount for Disney Visa cardholders as there is for WDW Marathon Weekend events?

$195 for the half and $320 for dumbo... Zoikes. If no one has started up a thread by New Years I'll get one crankin again... But boy is that a buzzkill.

I used Jim with Run with the Mouse. He has bibs pre-distributed. Ive heard great things about him so I signed up there not knowing how quickly DDD would sell out.

Good idea I just contacted them! I tried get Travel this week and they said they weren't booking yet.

It was 340 with Jim, which for me was worth the extra 20 dollars as I didnt pay the active fees. For Tinkerbell I paid close to 187 with their fees. I would guess they would be a little higher on DDD, so I feel its pretty fair and I didnt have to buy any "extras" like park tickets.

I could have waited for the AP date, but I just wanted to be secure with a spot. Also is that link right, Tink in May at WDW???

I was already thinking on sitting out this year (all events, Dumbo, just the half, 10K or 5K) anyways since my priority for the Disneyland races is Tinker Bell (going for legacy). This kind of makes it an easier decision. I just don't have the money to throw around like that anymore. I love the Disneyland Half course compared to Tinker Bell and I really enjoyed Dumbo last year despite the rough edges. Just ... Ouch.

Okay, first off how the heck do you get that page to pull up. Everytime I go to the AP page all it gives me is a list of the races. And a link to the RunDisney website.

Second, I really hope that's an error on Disney's part about Tinkerbell being at Disney World in 2015. Because if they are moving it to DisneyWorld along with changing the date I will be pissed at a whole new level. No offense towards Disney World but it all ready has its fair share of races, and one a week before that too! It doesn't need another half marathon. Let us keep our races please.

Geez! I'm glad I got that one out of the way. They need to spend some of that extra money on the expo. It was horrible last year.

I was thinking about signing up for the Dopey next year. It may be way out of my budget now with these kind of price increases.

I'll sit out this year. Hopefully, the changes they make will improve the expo and 10k experience. I'll keep an eye on this for next year.

It will probably be 400 then...
