2014 DL Avengers Half Marathon Weekend 11/14-11/16!!!

Ok I got mine to download. However it has my State as CA not AZ. What can I do about this? Will it matter? Also where do I find what corral ill be in?

For the 5ks, they don't announce the corrals usually. The letter will be on your bib when you pick it up. And the "A" is for adult. you can email rD about the state or can talk to someone after you pick up your bib at runner information, but it doesn't really matter if you leave it.

When I ordered my pin and necklace last year for Wine and Dine they had vouchers and you picked them up in a separate place (different table), not sure if DL does it differently

You'll get your pins at packet pickup. I believe you get your bib at one booth and then go to another booth for your pins. I can't remember for sure. But its definitely at bib pick up, on that same level, not up where the vendors are.

So excited to run my first Disney race!

Any prior Disney runners have an opinion of the ChEAR packages? Do they really provide better spectator vantage points?

Outside the tiny spectator spot on the corral map, the race map doesn't seem to identify spectator spots.

None of my family is ever actually awake and moving to do anything but make it to the finish line!

This year might be different - mom is running with me and my brother's kids might be awake enough for one of the parents to bring them out to cheer. The BF...well, he'll make it to the finish as long as I remember to text him 2 miles out...

thanks so much. I never remember getting an email for my pin but it did come out the bank so I was just worried. I wont worry about it oh and I emailed them about the state mess up so waiting for that. I am getting so excited

You get your pins at the same desk as your bib. You initial for your bibs and your pins on the same line and they hand them to you with your bib.

I know!!! Wrote out my list yesterday and have to get everything all piled up this weekend so I can just clean out my suitcase from 1 weekend to the next.

And you might appreciate this, but sadly, I now don't have very much spending money for Avengers. Did a little late night shopping last night.

LOL I'm waiting for my local Sports chalet to get its 2nd shipment in today of Giants world series champ stuff so I can go get shirts!

I went online and it was bad; the selection was so big. I was somewhat good in that I only ordered a sweatshirt, a shirt and a onesie for my niece. But payday is tomorrow and there are some more shirts I liked....

I dont know how it got here so fast but I sure am glad it did! It is going to be sooo much fun!

It will. My mom and a bunch of my friends, including one mid-chemo, are running, and my nephews are doing the kids races. We'll probably be wearing a lot of Giants Orange, too. (Everyone but me is in the Bay Area and I did stay up for the game last night.)

Back to Avengers: I THINK I'm gonna to run with my handheld water bottle. Do you think I would still be able to drink out of it if I make a captain america shield out of cardboard and attach it to it? Or will it just be too complicated and get in the way?

Nice! Wish I was there too. Listening to it on KNBR, but not the same. I'm taping it though, so I'll watch tomorrow once I get all the Halloween stuff down and put away.

I think if you attach the shield and it's small enough it might be okay. I would try it while you're making it to make sure you can drink out of it. And now that we actually have rain right now, it has me hoping we don't have rain in a few weeks. I'm wearing a white shirt and it didn't even cross my mind that water could fall out of the sky. That would be horrible!
