LOL!! So they already had to recover those beautiful little chairs, huh? I knew when I saw the new chairs that they would be stained in no time...the light colored, non-wipeable fabric. Now, if they would just go back to having two comfortable couches with the two chairs in the TV area instead of that little settee!Kiddie tables and chairs...View attachment 109214

We love the Deluxe Queen Room because it's so large...and it's really not much more expensive per night, if you can still book one for March...there are only 6 of them available. I believe all 6 are on floors 3 or 4 (I'm not positive about the location of two of them) so the back elevator would only be needed for going to Gasparilla Grill or the pool. There are interior stairs connecting floors 3-5 for access to the lounge (4th floor). You would only use the main elevator to get to the monorail or anything else in the main lobby. The deluxe queen rooms (4319/4320, 4419/4420) have full balconies that overlook the back entrance by GF Cafe and the courtyard pool. The view is very pretty and great for people watchingHello GF fans! I'm hoping for some recommendations from the experts in this thread. I am hoping to book GF RPC for next March. It will be our first stay there. My main question is:
What type of room should I book or request? We are a family of 4, with the 2 kids being age 12. Factors are:
> We must have a balcony with a nice view -- I think I'm ok if it's not a TPV but we still want a nice view. I've been searching to find photos of each type of bookable room in RPC -- I know they're here somewhere and I've found a few. But I'm wondering about personal experiences and recommendations too.
> I'm assuming there are daybeds in each room?
> Seems like I read somewhere about switching elevators a couple of times? Is this just to go from room to lounge, or is it to go from room to monorail? We are fine with stairs -- we often stay at Poly CL 1st floor and always use the stairs to go to the lounge.
The room, lounge, and food pictures look incredible!! We absolutely can't wait to stay here.

There are connecting doors in the room numbers I listed, but we have never had a problem with noisy neighbors in RPC. We always request one of the third floor rooms because the fourth floor rooms listed are right by the lounge, and we are afraid of early morning noise. I think the other two Deluxe Queens are on the other side of the building by the Deluxe King Turret rooms on the 3rd and 4th floor. I've never stayed in those rooms but I've heard good things about them. I've posted pics of 4320 before, but I'd be happy to post them again if you can't find them. Honestly, I'd be happy with any room in RPC on the 3rd-5th floor. It wouldn't have to be Deluxe...but the extra room with two kids (17 and 12 this fall) is really nice! Have fun planning

We had three deluxe kings last week on the second floor, 4203, 4204, and 4205. The balconies were large and were a perfect spot to watch the fireworks. Straight clear view to the castle from there. Maybe the same rooms above would be similar? Not sure of that. As I mentioned in another thread, we liked the second floor, even with the switching of elevators, which wasn't a big deal. The floor was very quiet. These rooms did have sleeper sofas.
So the RPC deluxe queen room is not a bookable category, right? All I see for RPC is Standard, TPV, and deluxe king.
If I called, would the deluxe queen just be a request, or is it a bookable category that I'll be guaranteed?
Thanks![]()

My daughter has asthma and seems to have issues with a lot of perfume, but she has never had a problem at GF. It is the smell in the main lobby that I was referring to, and I think it's a combination of the cleaners they use and the soaps, etc at Basin White. I don't think you'll have a problem with it...it just smells wonderfulThis might sound odd but where can you smell this fragrance? Is it as strong as perfume? I know WL had some sort of scented plug in behind the tv. I am allergic to perfume and get migraines. The one at WL didn't bother me but I'm curious how strong this scent is.
I don't consider it strong at all, but then, I'm not sensitive to perfumes. To me, it's a clean, refreshing scent, not overpowering or sweet. Others may be able to describe it better. This might sound odd but where can you smell this fragrance? Is it as strong as perfume? I know WL had some sort of scented plug in behind the tv.
