Hi,

Waiting for prices and info to come out for February 2013. I recall last year that when the info did come out for February 2012 it was in June.

The June announcement followed what had been already offered for UK packages which included free dining.

Here is a link to the 2013 UK deals and it does mention free dining but only CS for moderates and DDP for deluxe nothing mentioned about values. It also says that the deal is on for school holidays and Easter where last year it stopped the Saturday before Prez day.

I have no other info than this but it makes me think that US packages will follow the same pattern. Maybe free dining is over for values?

I don't think so, I thought it was the same last year. I would be shocked if they got rid of free dining for values. But what do I know?

But I don't think you can just assume that what the UK offer is, the US offer will be.

The UK offers have always been different from the US offers. You can't use them to predict anything for US.

The 2013 UK offer sounds pretty similar to the ones offered in past years. It's usually been announced fairly early and doesn't have as many block out dates like the US offers. Their offer hasn't been an indicator of what will be offered here.

They have never included the value resorts in the UK free dining offers.

I too am planning a February 2013 Vacation

I really hope a discount comes out, and soon. I am hoping for the free dining, or for a military discount. Disney has offered some great military discounts in the past couple of years. But the waiting is KILLING ME :confused3

They havent even opened up package booking yet for 2013. The 180 day ADR date is fast approaching for Jan 2013, so hopefully it will not be too much longer? But then how much longer until any deals come out? Anyone have any insight into this?

Why do UK residents get to book before the US? Why are they offered discounts that we are not? Im not trying to have "sour grapes" or anything, I am just wondering Disney's logic behind it.

Why are they offered discounts that we are not?

UK visitors generally stay for at least two weeks, usually three. They usually book air transportation a long time ahead. Disney wants them onsite and eating at Disney restaurants for that entire time. That's why they can get free dining for up to 21 nights and the US limit is 14 nights.

On the other hand, the British offers don't include the value resorts - they don't get any free dining at all if they choose to stay value. They also get the quick service plan for staying at a moderate.
