2013 rates - Jan. 1-5

Trying to decide if I should go ahead and book hotel at $179 a night, buy preferred pass and wait, or hope for a better deal. Anyone know when promos for 2013 will come out? Any other ideas for getting a better rate? We are a family of four going January 1-5 and want to stay on site for unlimited express passes. It's going to be a Christmas present for the kiddos. I'm very excited but don't want to book too far in advance if there is a chance of getting a better deal.

if your priority is to secure the room and hotel, book now and modify your rate when other discounts come out.


there will be many that are booking for the nye period which could include january 1st.

We are planning on a visit Jan. 4/5 and I've been monitoring the onsite hotel prices but have not seen $179. Can you confirm if this was for an onsite hotel on the Loews site? Which hotel? We want to stay onsite.

Yes, it is on the Loews site at the Royal Pacific hotel. It is part of the "Stay More, Save More" promotion. From what I can see, the rate goes down the more nights you stay. For our stay (Tues. Jan.1 - Sat. Jan. 5) Tues, Wed, and Thur, nights are $179.20 and Friday night is about $15 more...can't remember the exact price. I actually ended up booking through AAA for a little less. Hope this helps!
