Got my pin today for November. Can I apply this to an existing reservation? Is there anyway to upgrade to the DxDP for an additional charge?

Yes and Yes. You can call and have the FD pin applied to your exisiting reservation as long as your check in date is within the dates for the PIN and there is availability at your resort. We were booked in standard room at POFQ but had to change to Garden view to get the FD.

You can pay the difference between the FD offered for your resort and the cost of the DxDP.

PINs are nontransferable.

Absolutely. You will just pay the difference between the plan you are given for free and the DxDDP.

Can you give away a PIN? I got one too but they won't let us use it.

You cannot give them away. Who wouldn't let you use it? Do you just mean that it didn't work for the dates or resort you have booked?

They sent us the notification in the mail with our PIN, which fell in the dates that we were already booked so I excitedly called and the CM said because we are staying in Grand Villa we can't use FD

Can anyone tell me what they think likelihood of free dining being open to public during current "pin" times? We are staying at Polynesian for our first time 10/1-10/5. Thank you for your thoughts!

Anyone ever have any troubles extending free dining? There is a possibility we may extend anywhere from 1-3 nights. Just curious if we'll be able to extend or if we need to book a new reservation for the additional nights.

Shouldn't have an issue pending availability. If you're extending the front dates make sure they're included in the offer.

Thanks. It would actually be at the end of our trip which falls outside of the free dining dates.

20 years of WDW visits at Deluxe resorts, Disney Visa cardholder, member of just about every Dis club I can think of, never seen a PIN. I called again this AM and no luck. I always got free dining from Visa or general offer.

I got the best rates by booking early and often. But this years trip will cost 2000.00 more than last year and we only have the DP not the DDP.

May cancel as its a huge vacation expense increase over last yer for the exact same trip.

Just called and received free dining for our Oct. 27-Nov. 2 stay. My cousin who is also going at same time got a pin in an email. I have received no correspondence from Disney despite signing up for emails and ordering vacation dvd (which i have not received). The Disney agent told me I couldn’t get it because i didn’t have the PIN. I asked how do i get on the list she said she didn’t know and I got a little angry and said “I’m asking you to market to me and you won’t do it?!” She put me in touch with Marketing Dept and after about a 20 min wait the marketing agent said she got it done for me. Saved our party of 8 $1800!! She went on about how nice i was about it so i guess kindness goes a long way.
FYI she told me she doesn’t know how people get on those lists and that the rumor of signing up for a Disney Visa is not true…won’t necessarily get you on the “list”

I was reading the thread last weekend and seen where everyone was getting pins so I decided to call but the systems were down and could not get through. A couple days later I was sitting at my parents (which live next door) and she said I received this a couple weeks ago and started to throw it away but kept it so you could see what it is. It was a PIN in my dads name! We all live at the same address but different houses so we were both able to use it. I would have never known anything about a PIN if it weren't for you all here! And we could not have afforded to go this December if it weren't for the PIN so I am so glad we received a PIN! I booked right away so we are officially booked for our very 1st WDW trip and are going Dec. 1-6 at Pop Century with Regular Dining!
