Anyone on the DIS boards have a Ford Fusion with the 1.6 liter engine that was affected by the recall?
It was DH's turn to order a company car and their company went with Fusions this year. It was ordered, manufactured and delivered to the Ford Dealer just as the recall went into effect. DH is currently driving around in a rental Dodge Charger.
I asked him this weekend when he thought they might fix the car; he said he's pretty sure Ford still doesn't know how to fix it!
Oh wow. So glad the timing was just right, and DH never even drove his Fusion once!
Here's the first link that came up when I did a search for the recall:

Apparently, according to DH, there have been cases where people were driving along, the engine overheated, and the next thing the owners knew, their cars were engulfed in flames!
