2013 dates

Subbing - booked some dummy reservations last week onboard and am anxiously awaiting the 2013 dates. Come on Panama Canal or Europe... mama needs a new cruise :-)

While we won't know until DCL makes their announcement - last October the 2012 cruises on the Dream and Fantasy were available to be booked through August 2012. (The Magic and Wonder cruises were available into March or April.) The rest of 2012 on the Dream and Fantasy wasn't available to be booked until Feb. 2011. The summer/fall 2012 cruises on the Magic and Wonder weren't announced until March or April.

:cloud9: Hoping for the same! I would love to surprise my mom on Christmas day with a fully paid cruise...her heart would melt :lovestruc she has always paid for our cruises and since I'm no longer a kid anymore (I'm 22 now), it'd be a little thank you for giving me everything I ever wanted as a child

If you change cruise dates, it does not hold the price. The booking you make onboard is only good for the 10% off the price you book the new cruise under. For example, if you booked a cruise for $2000 and 10% off would make it $1800* but you then moved that booking to a cruise that is $3000 with 10% off making it $2700. You now have to pay the full $2700. If you paid a small deposit, the remainder of the deposit that is due for the new cruise must be paid in full at time of booking.
I hope that made sense to you. :goodvibes

*I only used these numbers as examples. In an actual scenario, the base cruise cost would be the only portion eligible for the 10% off. You would then add in taxes and fees.

OK that has me wondering why people book dummy dates-I thought it was to get the first release on pricing then move your dates.

I booked the "dummy" date onboard to get the 10% discount and OBC since the dates I wanted (2013) wasn't available to book yet.

What a sweet thing to do for your mom!

It's been a few years since we cruised, and I can't remember the designation of Silver, Gold or Platinum for Castaway Club....we have cruised x 3 with Disney. What does that make us?

You are silver until you complete your 5th cruise.

Now I am also interested in this. I am really hoping the week of March 16, 2013 is an Eastern on the Fantasy, but I am guessing it will end up being a Western.

I am currently booked on the May 19, 2012 Eastern. Unfortunately our kids school gets out a few days later than last year, causing them to miss a couple days of school. I was good with that, but just recently booked a trip for spring break that will pull them out for a couple days as well. I hate to pull them out twice within two months.

I would really like to move it to June 2012, but those are now way too expensive. I think if either March 16, 2013 or June 2013 isn't too much higher than what I was able to book on opening day last year, I will probably switch.

Anyone else think that perhaps the new dates will be released tomorrow?

Oct 5 - at the sametime the 2nd Hawaii sailing is made avaliable to the public??

We would love it if the dates come out tomorrow. We are ready to book for 2013.

To get the 10% discount and the OBC credit. It's worth it to float a reservation for those amenities. ;)

I've had an e-mail yesterday from Dreams asking me for planning information for 2013. So it looks like something could be happening soon.

I emailled Kelsie (MY DU agent) a couple of days ago with my plans based on what I think the itineraries will be. I have had the auto response but nothing else yet - I am hoping that is because the DU agents and other TAs are busy getting all their info lined up for a booking release SOON!

For those of us who can't book in advance, the general public will have a decent heads up, wouldn't you say? I know certain level members usually get first dibs. Because I've yet to sail, I won't have this priveledge.
