2013 Candlelight Processional Watch

We will be there Dec 16 - 23 and I definately want to see the CP. My DH and DD will go to appease me. I don't want to spend all those dining credits for them to "appease" me! Do you think I need the package if it is just me going? I was thinking about Via Napoli for lunch on the package while they golf and pay OOP. Or can I book a table for 3 and only me get the package?

I need to decide what to do and stop obsessing!

Are there special menu choices at each restaurant for the CP package? Or do you order off the regular menu and pay a premium for the CP? Thanks again for all the info!

And this is why I check Disboards on my phone before I even get out of bed!!! Seeing that others could make CP ADRs got me out of bed faster than any alarm!

Just booked San Angel Inn at 12:50 for the 5 pm show on Christmas Day!!!!

Great! I thought that maybe I just got lucky and found a glitch in the computer system this morning, but if you got them over the phone, then they must be taking them. I haven't heard anything about them opening this morning!

I just booked online - My confirmation says "Holidays Around the World - Candlelight Dinner Packages Teppan Edo Dinner" Thursday, December 12, 2013 (5.00pm Dinner). I had to reserve with a credit card. Yahoo

When I go into the system and look at all my ressies, it shows the ressie, but doesn't specify that it's a CP package. Should it? I didn't have to place a hold with a credit card either.

I noticed that if you went to the Candlelight Processional Page and clicked on restaurant in the "Participating Restaurant" list to start the process, the reservation did not appear to be a CP Dining Package reservation.

I had to go back to the CP Dining Package page and use the search on the right side of the page to select a date, time, and restaurant ... note if you already have a reservation at the time you select, it will ask you if you want to switch.

I did have to reserve with a CC.

I did online too! I had the phone on hold too but web got through faster.

Don't click on the individual restaurant name under CP package. Instead select the restaurant you want from the drop down box. I made that mistake at first and booked regular lunch at San Angel. Got it squared away now but it freaked me out for a few minutes!!

The strange thing is that it doesn't look like all restaurants are available just yet. We were looking for Rose & Crown, but I can't find a single day in December where the CP Dining Package is available. I can't imagine the whole month closed up that quick!

We switched to Tokyo Dining because it had the time we were looking for (4p), but we're going to try and switch to Rose & Crown once it becomes available.

I have not had emails for any of the character dining or the candlelight dinner package - all needed a credit card though I do have confirmation numbers etc

I went back and figured I should just book online and then I can change it if they open the later dinner times...

I got La Hacienda at 4:30 for the late CP show on the day I wanted! 12/8!

Thankfully I checked this thread this morning before I walked the dog!!

Once again the Canadian website sucks beyond all reason. No online booking for me. But when I called and waited on hold I was told I can't book over the phone until July 9th. I'm sure nothing will be there if I have to wait another 9 days. So so so annoyed.

I'm sorry to be so negative when everyone else is excited but I am livid. Seriously how is it fair because we have the crappy outdated website that we'll have to wait an extra week or more to book what everyone else can book? It's not like I am paying less for my vacation. Nope, I just get to wait and hope there is something left. Gives me zero confidence that Canadians won't get the shaft when Fastpass+ opens up as well.

Love the DIS.... Love it, love it, love it... I went online and was able to cancel my exisiting Nov. 30th at 12:30 lunch at Tokyo Dining and replace it with the Candlelight Processional at Tokyo Dining for the same time. Going to be a blast in Epcot that day. Tokyo Dining, Candlight Processional, and a 7:15 dinner at Monsieur Paul. Only downer, with that dinner time it's going to be close with Illuminations; I believe Epcot is open that day until 9:30
