Thank you, thank you, thank you for the pictures of the tea dispenser. You have made one teenager girl in our party extremely happy!

Got up at 4 am to make my ADRs today. Whew, woozy today no matter how much coffee I drink! At least, it is done, though I didnt get my desired times for several things and no BOG for the entire 9 days. One step closer...but how to fill my planning jones now?!?! :goodvibes

2 weeks and we'll be in the plane to Florida!!!!

So excited.... Can't even work and focus on my things to do

Could NOT pass up the AP rate for the YC in June!
Taking my niece for her graduation gift, and she doesn't know it yet!

Plus, I've already got the Dessert party booked and Dining with an Imagineer booked!
Anyone ever do the Imagineer lunch/dinner? I have no clue what is in store with that one!

Stayed BC CL last year and loved it, but I am looking forward to going "home" to the YC CL! :goodvibes

Our dates are June 15-22. :thumbsup2

Howdy!
We are just back from a week at the BC. It was wonderful, as usual. We committed a very big crime, :upsidedow, we didnt even step foot in SaB. :rolleyes1

We booked a garden view and stayed in 4550. The room was lovely, had a couch and balcony. However, it was the ugliest view I've had at WDW. We only saw the tops of dead trees. We also heard a lot of truck noise. I think we were close to where the ME truck brings the bags as it was that type of noise.

We took a more "relaxing" trip this time only booking 2 adrs. The rest of the time, we grazed. We ate at Beaches & Cream a couple times and had a lovely meal in the lounge at YC (don't remember the name.) They serve actual food, not just app's. In the mornings, we grabbed muffins (yummy) from the quick serve area. We also had a couple of their made to order flat breads (again, yummy)!

thanks dee!! I'm all checked in with jetblue! So far so good flight is on time 24 hours in advance.... Hope it stays that way!!!

Good luck... It's not really the airline, but more the security and the air traffic controllers who have the mandatory days off that is causing the problems, and it's affecting major city airports like all the nyc airports including newark. Jetblue is saying i need to arrive 90 mins before scheduled flight just incase. I will post from the airport tomorrow am!! Keeping my fingers crossed for you that everything goes smoothly!!

Thank you sue!!

This is exactly what i'm hoping!! Funny how coming home i don't really care it's the getting there part i care about!!

good luck!!!!!!

I wouldn't be able to focus either. I don't know how you do it. We don't check into the BC (our first stay there) for another 138 days, and I already have days where I can't focus due to thinking about the trip.

I hope the time flies, but not too quickly you don't get everything done you need to.

My DH and I were talking about our trip last night. I told him as soon as we get checked in, the first thing I was going to do was check out SAB. We won't stop to swim, but after hearing about it for so long, I just want to look at it before we head to a park. Then, since we're going to DHS that day, we'll just take the boat.

:crazy2: no SAB :confused3. Glad you had a great trip!

We just officially booked the YC for 8/24 - 8/31! Woooo hooooo! We thought we'd be staying in a value, but got an amazing rate from a TA and couldn't pass it up! I am so excited to stay there!
Congrats :thumbsup2

:woohoo:

I haven't heard much about Dining with an Imagineer. A trip report I am reading will include the experience, but I don't think missyrose has gotten to that part yet. I'll put the link here in a minute or two.

Glad you had a wonderful trip, but I'm sorry to hear about your disappointing view. I appreciate all of the info you shared.

I'm on the first flight out on Thursday morning please keep fingers crossed!!! Hope everyone else going doesn't have any problems with their flights!!!

I'm guessing since we haven't heard a rant from airport everything must be on schedule!:thumbsup2

Another tidbit. WDWMagic is reporting Boardwalk Bakery is reopening tomorrow. Another option for our friends traveling soon. :cool2:

Hello Beach and Yacht Crowd!

We just booked at Yacht for Aug 23-28. Very excited as this is our first ever stay on Disney property! I have skimmed through most of this thread but was wondering if there is any other place (fan website or the like) where folks would recommend I go to familiarize myself with the Yacht Club?

Also, how important does this group think park hoppers would be? This is only our second trip to WDW and on our first one we were quite happy with going full on 12 hour days at one park!!!

:rotfl2: that's what I was thinking too. All must be good!

Hi everyone,
I recently book at the Beach Club (1st time staying) It is a splurge for a much needed vacation its been 4 years since we have taking more than a 2 day vacation anywhere.

Anywho the only rooms that were available for what we needed (2 queens and a daybed) were on club level.

From all my research on these boards I think we will be in either 4691 or 3557 because the Cm told me we would only have a Juliette (standing room) balcony.

Does anyone have photos of 3557 or 4691? I would really appreciate it and is that a far walk from the Club Lounge?

I am so excited and any information that can passed along would be so appreciated.

I love DISER'S you guys are the BEST pixiedust:

Hi, and welcome. No, there's no fan site that I know of for YC, aside from us :). But Allears.net has a YC fact sheet, and loads of pics. They may have a video too. Click Accomodations link then scroll down on left for YC.

IMO hoppers are very important, especially when staying in Epcot area. So many food options a short walk away, but requires park entry. Also nice is that you can just nip into Epcot just to watch illuminations if you want, or go into DHS for an attraction or 2.

Thanks Sue, I will check out allears. The hopping does sound like a good idea I am just not sure if in reality we would use it. Hmmmm

If you haven't checked out the first page of this thread, it's a great resource too! I would definitely recommend park hoppers when you stay here, as it's so nice to walk to Epcot in the evenings even if you did a different park in the a.m.
