That picture of the sunken treasure now hangs in my office
Any bad thought is melted away by the beauty of my special drink...
My goal: sunken treasure on my Disney Alaskan cruise....am i up to the challenge??
Heres a tip - if anyone trades vinylmations; i just scored a whole bunch at the disney store on clearance for 2.99 each....great for trading! My son got interested while we were in the World and it was costly paying regular price. I also ran into a lady who was buying about 10 an planning to use them as favors at her sons birthday party. just a thought.
TNKim said:What would be the best way to get from Beach Club to Grand Floridian? I have reservations for the afternoon tea at Grand View Tea Room. We don't have park hoppers, so going through Epcot is not an option. If we take the bus to MK, then monorail to GF, how long would it take and how early should we leave in order to be at GF at 3:30? And how about going from BC to Poly for a 5:20 reservation at Kona Cafe? Thanks for your help.
Ok, just a few more from our recent trip...
In the description of the Beach Club it lists two lounges, the Rip Tide and Martha's Vineyard sounds like a couple hidden gems. Where are they located?![]()
We are staying at the BC from Aug 3-10
We decided to add another day (the 11th), contacted our TA because he had quoted us a rate earlier.
He emailed us back that it is booked. He actually said that DISNEY is full
Is that possible?

Today we finally got to partake in breakfast at the CL. Yesterday we headed out too early, but today was sort of sleep in day. The little kids were booked on the Albatross Cruise (Pirate Adventure), so we couldn't go anywhere in the morning.
We dropped them off for their cruise (which they loved, btw) and I went around taking some pictures. Then back to the room to do some administrative stuff - clean out my purse, have the club level "people" (I don't know what to call them) apply some gift cards to our balance, try to organize the mess we'd made of our room, etc.
We picked the kids up 2 hours later and headed to AK. We had an adr at Yak & Yeti. The kids loved the food there, as did I. Then off to see Lion King, go on the safari (seems like there are more animals and the poacher scene is gone now), watch the parade, catch the nemo show, DH and DD rode everest a couple times, a bug's life, some shopping and back to the BC.
We let the kids take their first dip in SAB and they were loving it. Fortunately the water was warmer than the air. We were wearing jackets as we sat in the chairsThose poor lifeguards all had jackets on, too. Our intention was to get some food at Hurricane Hannah's, but I guess it closes early because at 8pm, the shutters were pulled.
So, we walked over to the marketplace and decided what we wanted, DH was getting the food and I was taking the kids to change. We met back in the CL lounge so we didn't have to eat in the room. I had chips with my sandwich, so I asked the attendant if they had any dip left, and she brought me a heaping bowl full! I love those attendants!!
We're planning to do MK at 7am again tomorrow, so it's early to bed tonight! Hoping for another successful morning at MK!!
Back to bed with my friend Ty(lenol)![]()

The Rip Tide must be a real hidden gem. I have never heard of it! Was this on the Disney website?
Teena, or other resort experts??? Any history lessons?
I went and reviewed my dining section- I have info listed about Martha's Vineyard, but I don't have anything about the Crew's Cup at the Yacht Club. I'll revise that tomorrow.
Here is a menu for the Crew's Cup from all ears:
Crew's Cup Menu
I haven't seen a similar menu for Martha's Vineyard.
Does anyone know if the Crews Cup is a quick service on the dining plan?
