I emailed our coordinator Bill yesterday and I still have to wait till the end of the month before we get sent the room block stuff

How exciting! This means.... Your wedding's getting closer!!!!!

I know how you feel!! I picked ASM for our value and with tax it still came out to $131 a night

Ahh! I'm jealous Believe it or not we're still working on ours! Well I'm super glad you did and wish us luck since we'll be sitting down together to (HOPEFULLY) finish haha We've got our resorts picked, that's a start right?! And I'm w/ you on the $121/night for the value b/c we're going w/ ASM and that's the discount we got too.

Good luck! I swear after the room block, the only other biggest hurdle is the food...or maybe decor....or is it entertainment..... oh well, it's all smooth sailing till the planning session comes!

We're aiming for a November 2012 Escape wedding at SBP (flexible with dates) and dinner at V&As instead of a reception. It will just be the two of us as we're coming from Australia (we'll have an at home reception after we get back). Reading about all the hassles of organising room blocks, sending out STDs etc. I think I'm lucky in a way that we're not having guests!

It's very frustrating that I can't plan too much or finalise dates yet, but it's great to know I'm not alone! We're actually not oficially engaged yet (we have the ring but I have no idea when I'm getting it!) so I suppose I have that to look forward to.. and I'm holding off on starting a PJ until then too. It will be our first trip to WDW so I've been busy researching the different resorts, attractions etc. for our honeymoon.

Looking forward to chatting with my fellow 2012 brides!

Welcome! I am also a November 2012 bride (hoping for SBP and ADH on 11/12). I know what you mean about the long wait - we've been engaged since July and can't confirm our date until this July! Your plans sound great (and very romantic that it will just be the 2 of you).

We finished!! I feel so much better now that we have that taken care of We ended up going w/ ASM for value, Caribbean Beach for moderate and AKL as our deluxe. Now we're less than 3 wks out from our 1 yr mark

Yeay!!!!!!!! I almost went with Animal Kingdom but decided Beach Club because it's a little cheaper.

I got an email from my consultant today that our contract would be ready to mail out on April 4th. (I guess because April 2 falls on a saturday this year.. Ah boo! )

Oh I know! We almost didn't go w/ AKL b/c of the price but when I talked to our consultant we were able to change it from the savanna rooms to just the standard rooms which knocked $100 off the cost/night

That's so exciting about your contract! Hmm... Hopefully we'll hear soon on when we get ours I can't wait. Good luck!

October 11, 2011 from 9am to 1pm with menu tasting from 2:30 to 4.

I also called Disney vacation club and booked our stay at Disney Willderness lodge villas which we are stoked about because everytime I have tried to stay there since we don't own there we can't get in. Some really good news that was desperatly needed...

We got robbed yesterday and all 3 laptops including all of my jewelery, bose headphones, some other misc small electronics and my wedding band were all taken. So really happy about the planning.
