2012... so far away...

So I promised my dh, that there would be no more vacations for awhile, if we could try for #2... so we are going to start trying in a couple months, and now I am out of vacations to plan... sheesh...

So, 2012, CA should be done being fixed up by then right? dd will be 8, and new baby (with a little luck and pixie dust) will be just turning 3.

I can book about 1 year in advance right? That will give me something to plan for... is there a timeline anywhere of the changes that are going to be made by 2012??

Thanks for all your help for our 2 trips this year folks... gotta hold onto that Disney Magic for almost 4 years now... boy, that is gonna be a tough one!

Good luck TTC! That's exciting. Maybe you won't have to wait as long as 4 yrs though. We've taken babies, toddlers and preschoolers and had some wonderful trips with them at all ages. It takes a little more planning, time, and work to take babies/toddlers but it's definitely doable. You'll have to see how your dh feels in a year or two. Might change his mind by then!

Thanks everyone! I've been wanting #2 for awhile now, but dh likes the "easiness" of a 4 year old! and isn't quite sure about going back to babydom... so I promised to cut back on spending--actually vacations (we do a couple big ones a year usually), in exchange for going back to babydom!

I think we'll end up doing something when #2 is 2... but most likely a Mexico beach vacation... I really liked dl for a first trip when dd was 3 and potty trained and princess crazy, it added to the fun. But by holding off on my expensive vacations for 3 years (I am spoiled--no best westerns for me!) maybe we can do dl really big in 4 years...

I already have a bit of a plan--if all things stay relatively the same... I want to go Fri-Wed, and split up the big things over the weekend, fireworks one night, EP one night, fantasmic one night (and then rest more on the weekday nights)... but then I read about World of Color or something like that... so who knows what there will be to do in 4 more years!!

Anyhow, baby dust to all those who are trying... and to the one that has been working on it for a year have you used the ovusoft program?? It worked wonders for us last time (trying on our own for 7 months--then 1 month with the program and bam!)
