I am kind of dreading mine next week. My blood pressure has been high but I have actually been feeling pretty good except when the baby moves and it hurts LMAO.

I keep pricing flights and disney trips and then remember I can't fly anymore

GRRRR...

No good news to report on my daughter.

They put her back in the hospital yesterday...only to change their mind at 11:30 pm and send her home. Her blood pressure is still sky high...and she is quickly loosing faith in her decision to use a midwife. Or at least one of the midwives in the practice.

I am sure that all will be fine, but the stress is really more than I really want to deal with right now!

No real news to report on my daughter... we have discovered that her blood pressure skyrockets whenever she is sitting upright or on her feet. Of course, it is about a 45 minute drive to the doctor's office, so her blood pressure is always elevated when she gets to the office...so they send her directly to the hospital!

Her protein dips are coming back normal, but the 24 hour catch is coming back excessively high...although this last one was not as high as the first... it was still in the danger zone.

She has another appointment today, so she is packing a bag to stay in the hospital...since she is pretty sure she will spend the night...

They are still very vague about how the induction as far as timing etc... so we are still in a wait and see mode...


However, she DID get her crib yesterday! It finally LOOKS like a nursery...although they forgot the rails that make it turn into a full sized bed (she got the ones that make it a youth bed) so they had to reorder them...I am guessing another 6 months before that comes in! LOL!!

On the Disney planning front...I got to do online check in this morning for our June trip! While it was fun...somehow not as exciting as the old online check in. Lots of bugs in the system still. Should be interesting to see how things go...previously, if you did online check in you had to print out the confirmation and take it with you...

The online check in now has a greyed out print icon. (hmmm)

Also, I can see where the fastpass + info is supposed to go... but it is also not working. Oddly, if I were there today...a time i have zero ressies for...the buttons for the fastpass + are operational...but there are no times available! LOL...

I also checked on the RFID bracelets and how that would translate with having tickets from one vendor and reservations through Disney without being previously linked...and they had no clue...since it is still in testing stage.

It is officially out of 'beta testing' but still in 'testing'.

Now, it may very well be that since my actual reservation has no tickets associated with it, that that is the reason I can't get the fast pass + system to recognize me...and the spot to add your tickets purchased through another vendor is greyed out...or it could be that the whole system is not ready.

The original reports were it was supposed to be live by now...so I am guessing there is either something in the system not working properly... or maybe they are waiting to get all the RFID entrances finished and FP+ kiosks done...

Even though we don't use the FP system a lot...I am very excited to see how this is going to work. And even more excited to see the system have the bugs worked out! LOL!

I couldn't resist doing a quick update... I finally managed to get the My Disney Experience to work. I had to delete it and reinstall directly from the Disney computer screen... the one you get on the apps stores is an older version and doesn't let you put anything in it! (Who knew!)

Then I actually changed our dining reservation from 4 to 5. I did that online simply because it is easier to get my fingers to work on the computer screen as opposed to the tiny phone screen.

It was so cool...it noticed I had two reservations at the same time at the same restaurant... or more accurately that I was TRYING to make a second reservation. It asked me if I wanted to replace the previous one with this one...and then informed me that until the new reservation went through it would keep the old one. That was always my problem with the system before...if something went wrong and you cancelled your first one before you made the second one you could be out of luck...(so I always made the second one in my husband's name). After the transaction was done, I got an email.. . I like this way much better than before.

And I can still see where the FP+ info would go in...once the whole thing is done!

In just 58 days.... we are going to Disney! And guess what came in the mail today? Our Disney tickets! I know perfectly well I could have gotten them left at Will Call...but for some reason I wanted to hold them in my hand! LOL!

So now I have to keep up with them for the next 58 days...and hope I do not forget and leave it at home! LOL...

I am so close to paying for the Tomorrowland Wishes Dessert Party it is not funny!

ON two previous trips we wanted to do this, but either couldn't get a reservation, or changed our minds or something came up...

My only problem is that we are having dinner at Tony's at 7...so it will wrap up by 8 ish...then we would have to be at Tomorrowland by 9:30...

The whole purpose of taking a break and going back at night to ride...is that Miss B wants to actually RIDE! With two MSEPs that night...if we were able to make it to Thunder Mtn for her to ride...we would end up getting cut off by the parade and not able to make it to the Wishes dessert party...

Since it is Miss B's birthday trip I suppose I need to wait for her to come home before I make the decision... But one of her wants for this trip was to ride all three mtns in the dark...although...Space Mtn is ALWAYS int he dark! LOL...

I think when it comes right down to it...the dessert party is one of MY wants..not hers...

I just had a phone call from one of my long lost cousins. My aunt died last year, and they are going through some of her things that were my grand mothers... anyway....they ran across some things that they thought I should have...things that were in my grand mother's sewing room. Things that were hers and my grandfathers...like notebooks and certificates and such.

So I am getting with her sister later this week (she will be visiting Atlanta) so I can get these things. I can't wait to see what all they have.

I learned to sew from my grand mother. These are pretty special to me...I can hardly wait!

Cool that you got your dessert party. Hopefully you can make it to BTM in the dark for a ride. Do not get on splash at night if the ride keeps stopping! Curtis and his dad have been stuck on that one a few times at night. Casey and I avoid it in the evening due to our past bad luck.

I got 'some' good news today...the owners of the beach condo were able to rent it for our week and are giving us the deposit back. Should have the check within a couple weeks...just in time for our June Disney trip!

Happy day today!

I am going to visit with my cousin later this morning (after the horrible Atlanta traffic dies down!) Should take me about 2 hours to get there...spend a bit of time there, then hit the road back before the afternoon rush hour starts!

On the June trip front, I have booked the beach part of the trip... Looks like my husband won out and we will be going to Daytona Beach for a few days before coming home. Daytona Beach is not my favorite beach... but hubby thinks he will like it, so since I get Disney, he gets to choose the beach!


Now I just need to find a way to pay for the larger trip in Nov/Dec! LOL!
