How much would it cost me to upgrade 2 kids over the age of 10 to the TS from the CS free dining during Prez week peak time? We want Pop and it has CS free dining included but we want TS.

I cannot get through to Disney at all.

Thank you SO much!!!!1

10 and over, it's the same price to upgrade as adults. I forget the exact number, but the 2011 number is $11 per person, per day. May be slightly higher for 2012.

For 2012, it will cost $16.95 per person 10+ per night to upgrade from the Quick Service DDP to the Basic/Plus DDP. It's the difference between the two plans.

Thanks all! We are going Prez week Feb 18 with 2 rooms (JUST caught the free dining!) to Feb 25. I believe that is Peak dining so from what I can figure out it will cost about $19 per night per person instead of the $16.95 (or for math purposes $17).
I figured out that with everything added in (including insurance for all since we have elderly ill relatives and you never know) it would be an extra $336 to simply book a moderate than a value and upgrade for 5 adults (2 of which are 12 and 10 years old but adults in Disney's books). So know is it worth the $336 for bigger rooms, beds and some peace? I don't know yet. It is Port Orleans French Quarter vs Pop.

Is it $336 over the cost of what you will pay to upgrade your dining plan if you stay value or is it $336 to upgrade to Mod. and get the DDP instead of the QSDP @ the value? If it's the second choice I would upgrade in a heartbeat. If not totally up to you, the bigger rooms were nice and we enjoyed the fridge and more bus stops but I would probably rationalize how that money could be spent on souvies!

At peak dining it would cost me(2 rooms, 3 real adults and 2 Disney DDP adults/kids ages 10 & 12) a grand total of $5,007 with TS upgrade, park hoppers & insurance for 7 nights. The exact same plan is $5,343 at POFQ. Which is $336 more total. The peak dining upgrade itself is $665.

The good: Prez week will be insane enough at the parks, it will be nice to come back to a little less hectic a resort than POP. POFR is recently refurbished with queen size beds.

The bad: I am not rolling in money and it is still $336

The ugly: I cannot make up my mind
