Just booked the 4/14/12 7 night cruise on the Fantasy for my birthday Category 11B 154 points each adult-also priced a 10A on the June 9th cruise was 164 per adult and 124 per child. So-2012 cruise points are available!!

Do we as DVC members get any sort of discount on cash reservations? Also were you able to book a day early because you've previously cruised or can DVC members just book that early? I know the booking window for everyone opens up tomorrow the 20th. TIA

No discounts for cash for DVC members. Today, Gold & Platinum Castaway Club Members can book, tomorrow everyone can book. To be Gold you have to have completed 5 DCL cruises, Platinum you have to have completed 10 DCL cruises.

Thank you for the quick response!! Do we know if there is anywhere to find the cash prices. We don't own nearly enough points to use them for cruising purposes, but I'm definitely wanting to go and would rather book earlier then later. I know the booking window opens tomorrow, but if I have a day to plan then I know what I'm looking at LOL.

LOL I just checked the cruise board. I don't really know why I didn't check there first when looking for prices. I'll admit though as someone how has cruised before(not on DCL) I'm so confused over the catagories. lol

Thanks everyone . I got in this morning right when they opened-and even though I priced 3 different dates and 2 different cabins the DVC agent was still able to get through to DCL pretty fast and get the booking completed! Couldn't decide between maiden voyage, birthday voyage, or with the kids in June-my husband, my children and the agent all said "birthday voyage" so happy birthday it is!!

Love my DVC!! I was able to use 2013 points for my 2012 booking, and since I dont have anything planned in 2013 (yet!) works for me!

I struggled with the MV, but the kids will be in High School, and the June 9th was the lowest point Summer cruise so that won out! 418 points for 2A1C /11C and I will book another cabin on cash later.

With DVC, I have the 1/26/11 Dream MV paid in full and now the 6/9/12 Fantasy!

I'm on the June 9th cruise also....that's so exciting that you are going on the Dream MV. Wish I could go on either of the MV's, but with my DD in high school it's just hard to miss that much school.

I am hoping to book the 4/14 Western cruise. I guess we are behind the 8-ball. DH just mentioned tonight that we should do it and guess we missed our 'prime' window since we are Platinum members. Wish me luck....
