2012 Christmas Party for Cast Member Dates- when Disneyland closes early

I know its early but we wanting to plan a trip in early dec because our AP end on Dec 10. With the prices going up its slowing down our trips from Seattle.

So on the long shot does anyone know the dates yet?

We want to go the first weekend Thurs night - Sun. I cant remember if they do it on the weekends.

Last year they were on the Monday and Tuesday 12th and 13th Dec.

Any CMs on this board who can shed a light? I'm not looking to crash the party, just want to know what to expect when I visit the Resort December 10-12. Are they're open regular hours?

I don't believe CM exact party dates are actually known by anyone yet. I thought I read somewhere that they are usually on a couple of weeknights in early December. The thing you could run into with your dates is Candlelight Processional. Rumors are that that may occur the weekend of Dec. 1-2.

CP is Dec 1-2 and Cast Parties should be 10/11th.

It this time frame, Mon-Thurs hours would normally be 10am-8pm, with EE at 9am. Disneyland usually compensates by opening the park at 8am (EE at 7am on Tues) and closing at 6pm. DCA has stayed open til 9pm.

Thanks Malcon! The park is open for the same period of time so it doesn't look like it will make any significant difference to us.

There is no party. It has come to an end and CMs will be getting extra passes, discounts etc. but the park will no longer close for a cast only party. Sad for Disneyland Resort folks but things change.

Tis true... no more cast parties was announced on another board yesterday... so you don't need to worry about it anymore!

Is there any possibility that there are no more cast parties because the CP is running for 20 evenings this year? (Or so floats around a rumor that says so...) I don't think they could run a cast party with the CP as well....

Thought you might find the info in this post helpful. As you read down the comments, there is more official information. I have also wondered if there will be early close nights while we are on our trip.
