Hi there! Just had to post because we planned our disney trip before we bought a new home this past January (unexpected). Luckily we ended up selling our house and the title transfer went through today! I'm so relieved because in the back of my mind I thought we would have to postpone our trip if we had two mortgage payments My husband lost his sister on Valentine's Day from a battle with cancer and this is the best news we have been waiting for!! Now we're in the new house and cannot wait for our upcoming trip Thanks for listening!!

ps- I never heard if the noodles are back or not (replacements). Thanks!

Hi msdroz! Happy to hear your trip will go on as scheduled, and really sorry to hear about your husband's sister. I posted about this several pages back, but I stayed at YC last week and did an in-person check with both YC and BC Bell Services. BC Bell Services reports that the original noodles are gone but that "someone started it up again!" So we're good to go, and the noodle exchange should proceed!

Dee, glad to hear you're home safe! Hoping your luggage will follow shortly!

Sundays and Mondays as of now. Sundays for sure always. They keep saying I'm going to switch to Saturdays and Sundays but so far it hasn't shown up on my schedule (which we only get a few days in advance).

I start at 9:30 AM.

Yeah, it's been hit or miss on this trip but even though we're suffering, we've found a way to pay for the trip without going into debt so we're going for sure now. Not sure if it's the MOST responsible decision but you only live once so we're going for it!

I've been following you on this thread. Have you updated your pre-trip report lately? The boards have been weird! Also, I wanted to tell you that I agree your tactics when dealing with other park goers and their expectations regarding the trip. It's like you're saying that they can tag along with you or not, you don't mind but if they do come along with you, just remember, You're the boss. You have a really good idea of what you want to do and like that 1980's song says "Ain't nothing gonna break your stride!"

While I'm at it. Have you heard anything about the status of Big Thunder during this trip? I sure hope they are done with that refurb before you get there! I kno how much your family loves that ride! You'll be there so very soon and I am looking forward to your pictures and hopefully a nice trip report when you get back!

I actually love the thrill of trying to get those most wanted ADRs at the last minute. I will get everything I want at the 180 mark then the month prior to our trip, I go crazy trying to secure CRT or Ohana or Chef mickeys even though I already have them booked. Lol!!

I do hope that you are there in June when we get there. I feel like when I meet you, it'll be like meeting a celebrity! Btw, if I get my kids a lot of pins on eBay, will you still be able to pin trade with them? I don't think we're going to go crazy with the pin trading but I think it would be cool as a way to keep them somewhat engaged at certain times. We have some pins but this is the type of activity that I think will help elevate out vacation into the echelon of experiences for the children. Very excited to say "HI!"

Glad to see I'm not the only one that makes last minute changes. Pixarmom, I think now that you mention it, it IS because I need something to do!!!

Glad you mentioned the tourningplans craziness......because we were there last year for Memorial Weekend and in NO WAY could that have been a 10!!! And that is what they are giving it this year

I'm worried because for the first time EVER we are trying to skip EMH mornings, and instead head to a different park at opening time.

Luggage update- it has arrived at our doorstep. I think I heard someone dropping it off around 5 this morning.

Laundry is going, now must sort through pictures... In between flag football practice for both boys.

Hi Teena. Thanks for the email. I think when you're retired, it's cool to travel and I see that you are very much in agreement! I hope you have a good time when you're in Colorado in June with your daughter!

We will try to get over to the Beach Club on our arrival day to see you after we get into our room. The kids will want to swim but we'll try to make a point to get over to do a little pin trading!

DH and I have been on 2 cruises and I'm thinking our next one will be a Disney one. Our kids are grown and we're hoping the grandkids will be coming along some day soon and then it will definitely be a Disney cruise!
