So excited. One more sleep and LA (cold or not) here we come. I can't wait to get on the Disney Wonder!! One of the managers that I worked with a few years ago at the BC now works on the Wonder and I'm really looking forward to seeing him again too.

I'm really sorry I'm going to be missing so many disers while I'm gone!

And I will be anxious to return to work when we get back because the holiday decorations will be up!!

Teena,

Have a wonderful trip!! One day I'll convince DH to try a Disney Cruise, but that could be light years away!!

Can't wait to hear all about it,
the Bacque Family

Can we be added to the Guest List please?

We arrive at Yacht Club on 17 August 2012 - and get married at the Gazebo hopefully on 22 August - then sadly depart on 30 August.

We would also like to join in the Noodle swap. DD is most excited about this as she has just started swimming lessons and cant understand why the teacher calls them woggles :rotfl2:

Teena have a wonderful time.

I am so excited that I will get to see you again in about 3 weeks.

Teena:

As you do such a great job welcoming others, I hope to return the favor.

On behalf of those of us out here on the left coast. Welcome to California!

I hope you enjoy your cruise!

Hey all, checking in from my business trip. DH and the kids came along, and since it is a business hotel I'm finding it a bit stressful, especially in the pool! Looking forward for SAB where the kids can just play and we won't have to worry about them making a racket!!!

IPO made all my ADRs, and despite a couple of earlier minor mistakes (primarily just numbers since I decided at the last minute to add the other family to every reservation, since it is easier to cancel than add - this was IPOs recommendation) everything went great! These are our ADRs:

Day One: Biergarten, 8 p.m.
Day Two: Tutto Italia, 7:15 p.m. (YES! They are taking bookings despite the refurb!!!)
Day Three: 9:25 a.m. Cape May character breakfast
Day Four: Crystal Palace character breakfast 8:05 a.m.
Day Five: 'Ohana at 6:30 p.m. (followed by the Electrical Water Pageant and Wishes on the Poly beach)
Day Six: Captain's Grille at 8:30 p.m. (Universal Day - probably will not make this one)
Day Seven: Boma at 6 p.m.
Day Eight: Via Napoli at 7 p.m.
Day Nine: Sci Fi Cafe at 12:40 p.m.
Day Ten: Brown Derby at 5:50 p.m., and then we line up for Fantasmic. No package - 3:30 dinner was WAY too early for us!!

So exciting! And look at my ticker! It used to start with a nine!!!

Great Choices. A lot of them overlap with mine. I am going to go check out your Pre Trip report. I may eventually post one also. As you can see, our trip is in June, so I think I might wait until March to begin posting my pre trip report.

Awesome. I'm really looking forward to what you say about Via Napoli and the Brown Derby once you go.

Nanny and PopPop are going where? Without me? Mickey and Minnie will be there too?

Hi Everyone! Had a wonderful time in August at YC and was thinking about xmas. Does anyone happen to know if any construction etc. is planned for 12-24- 12-30? Thinking about staying here again--this time with 5.

In addition, is the xmas theme the same every year? Will the SAB pool be open 24 hours or just until the lifeguards go home -- special timing for the holidays? Are the pools heated more in the winter or just about the same as summer. The quiet pool was so hot in August, it felt like a hot tub--just wonderful.

Thanks in advance again for any and all help.:goodvibes:goodvibes

Congratulations on your 25th anniversary and your daughters graduation!!! A couple of great events to celebrate!

Sounds like an amazing lineup of meals!!! Are you on the Deluxe Dining Plan? Tables in Wonderland? or paying Out of Pocket?

My only concern is that this will be a lot of food, especially in the June heat. But the upside to a lot of reservations is a nice airconditioned break from the heat! You could also get creative and split some of the meals at the non-buffet places if you are not in the mood for a full meal. My family had the DDP in August 2008 and although we are all pretty enthusiastic eaters, we were not always ready to eat again when it was time for our reservation.

I love that you have a lot of character breakfasts/meals with your group. That should be a lot of fun!!! And you didn't overlook Kona, my favorite breakfast place. I look forward to hearing about your meals after your trip!

looks like an awesome line up! I'm extremely jealous of your 8:05 ADR at CP ;) It's funny how we have many of the same ADRs just a day or two off of each other.

lol I'm sure I will see you around SAB or well at least you'll definitely hear my children :rotfl:

Yes we have the Deluxe Dining Plan and you're right it will be alot of food...I am a bit concerned it might be a bit much. That is a great idea about splitting the meals- do they let you do that? My hubby wanted to try more of the signature dining restaurants which is why we chose that plan. Of course I am really hoping they will continue the free dining and we can just upgrade--not real sure if this will actually really happen but one can dream. We are so thrilled for this trip- our first family Disney trip since 2000. We have made smaller trips once with just my oldest daughter and then just us girls for a few days in 2005- but this will truly be a family all-together one and I am so excited and our first stay at the Beach Club--we have been to the GF, Old Key West- which we loved, POFQ- also very nice and gardens beautiful! I am excited to stay here as we have always wanted to try it and we love love love the pool!!:woohoo:
