2011-What a great year for me!!!!

I just wanted to share some good news with everyone here!!! Even if no one responds..I had to tell someone!!

I just finished my externship at a doctor's office on Friday. The doctor himself interviewed me..which I was told is kinda rare. The interview went well and I got called today for the JOB!!!! I was super excited!!!! It's only part time for now..but it could lead into a full time position!!

My other accomplishments this year are:

1) leaving an abusive spouse
2) losing over 100lbs--went from a size 28 to a size 18/20 right now!!
3) will be a college graduate for sure as of Wednesday
4) my class will walk in October and last but not least
5) got a job in the field I wanted!!!!

I figured with all the sad news that's been going on in the news and with us..family and friends..that some good news might cheer someone up somehow someway!!!

So how good has 2011 been to you??? Good news only please!!!

You have definitely had a busy year!

As for "good news only", I don't personally have any extraordinary good news for myself, BUT I do have a brother and SIL who are expecting their first baby in early December and my little sister recently got engaged and will be married in June 2012. Lots of things to be thankful for, that's for sure!

Why thank you!!! I am very proud if myself cause I had a lot of people who thought I wouldn't finish and I'll admit myself..there was a few times I wanted to quit..but I had support from family and friends and that got me thru!!

To one of the posters who said I deserve a Disney trip...I think you're soo right!!!

To everyone else...thanks for the congrats!! Also a congrats to the 50tg anniversary for the parents!!! That's awesome!! Don't find marriages that last that long anymore.

I can only hope for more things to happen and be positive. If all goes well...I should be moving to Florida by the end of next year!!! Thanks again everyone!!!

I think that surpasses me as far as busyness!!!! Lol but CONGRATS on the new addition later on and the new home!!! I hope everything runs smoothly and turns out perfect!!!! And I'm sure that there's gonna some kind of Disney-ish themeing in the child's room???? Lol
