'm in the same situation. Well, we decided next year and Disney World, but I'm waiting on the big question. I had to send him the Passporter ebook so he'll understand when we have to get penciled in. I'm so worried we'll not be able to get a date then have to get married somewhere else. I'm such a worry wart!

it's nerve wracking, i think he is at the jewlery store everyday to check if the ring is back, he is just as anxious to get planning too, now we have a baby to plan for as well, 2011 is going to be a very magical year

We are trying to figure out if this is affordable for us and it's so hard to really get detailed about the budget when the information is just not readily available. These threads really help ALOT! 10 AM ceremony at the WP beach, bruch at Narcoosees and DP at UK Lochside. All hopefully on hold till we can sign our letter.

do you have to pay the WP price to have the ceremony on the beach, that is where i would love to have my ceremony, we wanted sunset point but we have too many coming....

I'm hoping to have my wedding oct. 12, 2011. we want an escape wedding so I can't book until febuary and it's killing me that it's so far away! I go to the disney wedding site like everyday, haha. I've e-mailed and called disney a couple times too and they have my date penciled in.

Also, what is a dessert party? there's a lot of talk on here about it, and it sounds cool. i love dessert. haha

Hello! New to the Dis and loving it! I was engaged at WDW this past May and FDH wanted a Disney wedding (proof that I've got the right guy!) so we're taking a cruise on the Dream May 15-19, 2011 with a ceremony on Castaway Cay May 17. We only have 6 guests coming, my planning packet is almost complete, and I just bought my dress last week! It's hard to believe the entire thing was pretty much planned in 2 weeks. Cheers to Disney brides!

Dessert parties are like they sound! You can have them at Epcot, and you eat from a buffet of desserts while watching the Illuminations fireworks show, or Sago Bay and a couple other places to watch the Wishes fireworks show

Yup, the WP and/or WP beach is 3k. The WP just becomes your rainy day backup.

I was proposed to at Chef Mickey's in 2008. We have planned and booked our wedding for Jan. 4/11 at Disney's Sea Breeze. We leave in 123 days (Christmas Day) and will drive to Florida from Halifax, Nova Scotia (36 hours away).
