2011 Rates Released-- THIS MORNING! ON-LINE!!!

I think I know the answer to this but... anyone hear anything about when 2011 rates and info will be released this year? Could it possibly be as early as this weekend? TIA!

I hope package rates will be released soon. We're planning a Spring Break 2011 trip and would like to get started with our planning. Without rate/availability information, it's really difficult to do.

I went back and looked at the historical release dates and, last year, the 2010 rates were released on August 3rd. There's a rumor that the ticket prices will increase on August 1st which is this Sunday. I'm hoping that means the package prices will be released Sunday too.

If you call, you can get the room-only rates for 2011. Package rates have not yet been released - hopefully this weekend. When packages have been released, you should be able to book on the website for 2011.

I was on this afternoon making a change to our room reservation and the CM said he was hearing late August.

We've booked room only for January while waiting for pkgs.

Aug 15th actually makes sense to me since the current FD special has to be booked by August 14th. I don't see them running 2 pkg prices at the same time. Either way I'm ready to book our trip!

dang, I've been nervous about taking the plunge (i.e., booking) and have been putting it off but I finally just got all my stuff together, got my credit card, banned the kids to the other room and sat down and called only to be told the computers are down and to call back later -- after noon time (5 hours away!). So maybe they're working on adding the package prices. I have to say, she wasn't very friendly either. Oh well, I'll be at work in a meeting then. Bummer.

I talked to a CM last night to upgrade our resort and was again told August 15th! Please tell me this is wrong!? My dining ressie window opens Tuesday and I don't want to pay in advance for CRT which I will have to do if I don't have a dining pkg booked by Tuesday! Ugh! So frustrating!! Please, please, please WDW.... release dining on the 1st!!!

I was looking online for room only rates for January (just got word I have a business reason to be there and thought I would add a weekend with the family). But, the Disney web site lets me choose the dates but then when the search comes back it shows August 1, 2010 as the date and when I try to change it, it won't. Really didn't want to call as I was just sort of investigating the possibility.

I booked for march a couple of weeks ago and booked a basic package (no dining or tickets) so that I could add them when the prices are released. Just wanted to let everyone know that it is an opiton for those waiting to book. You don't have to cancel and rebook to add tickets and dining the way you would with a room only.

I would book the basic package now but Dreams hasn't updated their page yet for 2011 dates under the package reservations

Some of my favorite people work for Dreams Unlimited and they are able to book a basic package (with gtd room rates) for you. Just contact them and they will be more than happy to help you out.

As the previous poster said, you are able to call Disney and book your package as a basic plan. Then when packages with dining and tickets are released you would just add them on.

Here is what I would do for the CRT ressie. I would get a Disney gift card and pay for the CRT ressie with it. Then when the dine pkgs come out you can call Dining and have them refund the payment back to the Disney gift card. You won't have to worry about your cc interest racking up and the card can then be used to make a payment on your pkg later or for souvenirs at the parks. You can get a Disney gift card at your local Disney store.
