planning for May 2011!! Can't wait! i am bringing my little princess who will be 4 when we go... i would go sooner but shes a ride junkie (already) so her not being able to go on some rides will cause major meltdowns!!

today we made a countdown poster... it starts at 245 days to go... stinks we cant even start it yet!! not until september... i'm gonna have to have a countdown for that!

I am going in May as well. I will be taking my daughter who will be 5 at the time. She is so excited she has told EVERYONE we are going to Disney world next year!

I am getting so excited to start planning for our April trip. I am trying to stop myself from starting to plan the days and hopeful ADR's. I already have my ADR day marked on every calender at work and home... I just need to book when I can!!

Our daughter will be 6 right before we go in April... She is also so excited to go again.

Last year we stayed at the Caribbean Beach and absolutely loved it and the pool area. This year it has been suggested to stay at POR. I don't really want to at the same hotel because I think there is so much to see and I don't want to experience something new. Has anyone stayed at both and have any suggestions or comparisons about them...

I can't wait!

We are looking at a 10 day trip in May. It's killing me to not plan one this year, as we had been the previous 4 in a row, but that 10 day trip will be awesome!!

Now for the same price of staying moderate full price I could rent someone's DVC points and get a studio at BCV. So what would you do. Stick with the moderate and the possible discounts or rent DVC points and stay BCV.

This is my dilemma also. We are going Mid March 2011. So, in the midst of spring break. Last 2 times we rented DVC Points and the lady I rented from says I can rent again from her as she will have points available. So, we stayed at BWV and AKV. They were both awesome.

I also think CSR looks great but there is not guarantee that a code will come out for my time frame and if it does it probably will not be until Fall/Winter. If I want to book DVC I have to do so at the 7th month mark, which is August.

So many decisions but I guess I am leaning towards DVC again as we have been really happy in the past and I know what it will cost instead of hoping a code comes out. Now, I have to figure out where to stay this time. May go back to BWV or try BLT.

Good luck with your decision. I change my mind every other day!!

I have a newbie question. I usually cruise, we've never been to WDW yet... sorry. I haven't read this whole thread, just a few pages (and searching) trying to find the answer to my question. How are people making ressies already for 2011? I keep trying online and I get the message that they are only taking ressies thru Dec 31, 2010. I am trying to price something for maybe March or before our cruise in June, 2011. Where/how can I do this? If not yet, when? Thanks so much for your help.

You won't be able to make reservations online until sometime in Aug when they release the 2011 packages and prices. You can though make a room only reservation if you call them directly.

We have reservations off site for 3 nights but I want to stay onsite for our 1st 2 nights..Thinking the POLY due to its close proximity (3 yr old will nap).
Any sugestions?
Save our $ and stay at a moderate instead? Which one?

i am planning our first trip to Disney World! we are going from April 2nd-11th! so excited! we are making this trip extra special for our kids! we will be rinding in limo to the airport, doing the Grand Welcome for our hotel room, staying at All Star Sports (my kids and hubby love sports) and will be doing lots of little extra activites like pony rides for the kids and the pirate and fireworks voyage! we will also be celebrating my DD's 3rd bday (her bday is april 9th) and since we dont want to have no jelousy with her older brother we decided to celebrate all 3 kids bdays with a mickey mouse clubhouse cake and each one will get a little gift from mommy and daddy! cant wait till Oct. when i can make our resv.!

My Fiance and I are planning our Disneymoon for May 8th to May 22nd! Staying at Port Orleans Riverside and than our first Disney Cruise on the Dream!!!

Unless someone can convince me that February 18-26th would be a better pick. We've never been in Feb and I don't want to be COLD in Florida Anyway we'll be back at our beloved POP. Last 2 years was at AKL and the kids are begging to go back to POP. Over the years we have stayed at:

I hear ya. As you can see in my siggie, we went at Easter/Spring break time in 2006. I am not going to lie, it was crowded! But the weather was great and I do not want to be cold in Florida either. As our children have gotten older, our availability has become limited also. We are planning for the end of June/beginning of July in 2011. Crowded and hot I am sure but we'll be in Disney!
