2011 Holiday Tour. Who has booked and when?

Just booked Nov 14 @ 3:00 We have never done a tour before and I can't wait!

I have been debating whether or not to make a reservation for the tour. At what age are kids free? You mentioned your kids were 8 and 4. Were they both free? My kids are young (2 and under). I'm assuming they would be free considering they are free to get into the park. You said that they technically weren't on the tour - Were they able to wear headsets? Is there enough space for them to watch the parade?

Kids are only free if they are 2 and under since they also don't require park admission tickets. 3Minnies1Mickey would have paid for her 8 and 4 year old but not the two younger children in her family when she went on the tour.

That means both boys would be free.

That being said what is it like taking the tour with toddlers? Any insight is appreciated.

My kids have no fear so I'm not worried about them being scared on the rides. But I am concerned about them being bored? Would the 2 year old be able to get a headset? He might find that fun.

We'll have a double stroller. Will there be places to park the stroller? What about during the parade? Would it be hard to keep up with the group b/c of the stroller?

Haven't been super active on our Nov trip thread... but I am thinking maybe we should try to get on with the other disboards people on the 14th... My parents will be there so we would have childcare! I don't know that our 4 yr old and 2.5 yr old would tolerate it!

DD & I will be booking for Dec 11. We do it every year. It's a treat, but we love having a reserved chair for the parade. No cement sitting and no one trying to cut in front of you or squishing you out. Plus it's just plain fun!

I have a question for those Dis'ers who have booked the tour on the weekends when it is busier. Which time is better, the first tour or second tour? The first or second week of December is when we want to go, and we are finalizing which week today. Also, does it make a difference because of the CP for the tour? We have been to WDW at Christmastime a lot, but this is going to be our first DLR Holiday season trip. I am so excited!!!!!
