Vicki, graduation at ASU this year is May 13 so hopefully that won't affect you being able to go on this trip. Here's some magic to help. :wizard:

:thumbsup2

I'm hoping I can. Next year will all depend on a few things, so I'm very :confused3 right now. If only I was more sure about my summer trip which is a headache in itself.

There's always things that come up, or get canceled, but things will fall into place for all of us. :yay:

Yup. And no use stressing over it right now. I have no idea what my school schedule will be like next year. And that will be the deciding factor for me once the F&W dates come out in the far distant future.

So long as I can keep up with you all here, Ill be dropping in. :hippie:

I will be trying very hard to make it depending on the dates. Last year F&W ran into early June so we actually managed to make two separate trips during that time. We didn't do any of the hard ticket events, but Dave and I each attended a cooking demo, a beer tasting, a spirits tasting and we met Keegan from the Food Network.

The cooking demo I went to with Jamie Gwen was the most amazing little slider burger that I have ever had. It included carmelized onions, a parmesan cheese crisp, sharp cheddar cheese, mushrooms and tomato and it was to die for. Dave went to one with Robert Irvine (the Kitchen Impossible guy from Food Network) and I think his was steak and lobster, but I don't remember. We were both going to attend that one, but Ty was asleep so I watched from right behind the tent and thus didn't get to taste.

This year the dates just don't work for us to due to our big WDW trip, but next year I'm going to make it back whether it's with the mini meet or with my family.

Oh my gosh jane DROOL! All of those things sound so yummy! I'm really excited.

We did the one in DW in 05 and it was SO much fun but mainly we just sampled the food at the boothes. I want to actually go to some events this time! I'm excited!! :)

I would love to go to a F&W event - never been. In 2008 we were at DL during F&W, but it was me with Jesse, so he didn't give a rip about the cooking and wine ;) I do remember he tried a chili stuffed corndog though (blech!). Depending on the dates, I am still interested in this :thumbsup2

YAY! If they have the reg trip be in Feb or early march I think we are leaning towards late May so that may be far enough out. I know I personally can't do both but that would be AWESOME if you could make it!!

I don't know how this one compares to the one in FL but I am really anxious to go to some of the demos and I would LOVE to do a wine dinner although I better hope I win the lotto first LOL. They are NOT cheap I have heard.

But I LOVE to eat so heck just going and trying all the yummy stuff is worth it to me and heck I will even forgo my non-drinker status and try some wines!! ;) (kinda liked that magicale!!!)

Hey Stacielee - Thanks for the info on that. Here's hoping they keep it near the same time next year! Thanks for the extra magic to make it happen!

ooooo.. late May would be even better. No conflicts with the quilt show, spring break or school as we'll be done mid May.

This sounds good for me. Hopefully we can come up with dates that are good for all.

I'm keeping an eye on this thread.....

As I've said many times before, I have no clue what I'm doing next year. Ruben and I are still hoping to do a combined birthday trip in June, although I doubt it will be the Alaskan cruise anymore. :sad1:

Depending on what our birthday trip is, and where and when, I might do the main Diva trip, I might only do this mini meet for 2-3 days or so, or I might do none of it. How's that for being clueless. :teeth:

Time will tell, but if I end up not being able to make the main meet, this would be nice. I don't think I can go a whole year without being able to meet up and hang out with at least some of my Divas!! :grouphug:

Unless I can convince more to come to Vegas!! Halloween in Vegas is lots of fun.... :rolleyes1 LOL

Beth, the only way that I could do Vegas was if I took Scotty and his bicycle. And I would need to visit Summerland and take pictures of Palo Verde High school for my dorky daughter.:rotfl:

Why pics of Palo? That's not far from me at all!

Because Kody is MADLY MADLY in love with Brendon Urie, and that is where he went to high school.

Don't tell Kody, but I don't even know who that is.... :rolleyes1 :confused3

If she wants pics, I can take some. Or does she want to be IN them, standing on the same ground he walked on. :rotfl:
