So which floors are the regular garden view rooms on? I'm guessing first, second, and third, but I'm unsure. Also, are their garden view rooms towards the front, or ate they more towards the rear? I guess we need really a map that labels the area with the categories, but since the new categories are still so new it will be some time for that.

:woohoo: Hi

thanks for adding me to the list! I do not know how to change my ticker  My dates are Nov. 13-20 BC CL :yay: SO EXCITED!!!!

The regular garden view rooms are on the first four floors. The ones on the fifth floor that are garden view are of course club level.

They are everywhere ... if you don't see a parking lot, roof or water and you see something that is green (woods, garden, grass, trees), then it's a garden view.

Changed :cool1: If you click on your ticker it'll bring you back to the place where you can make a new one. If you go to the top left corner of the page and click on user cp then click on edit signature you can make a change there. Happy planning!!

THanks, Teena. I think I really need to orient mysel mentally where the parking lot is. Time to play around with Google Earth.

For some reason I was thinking club level was also 4th floor. . .I don't know why.

All regular club level rooms are on the fifth floor. Deluxe club level rooms, one bedroom suites and two bedroom suites (suites are also club level) are scattered on the first, second, third and fourth floors but of course give you club level access to the fifth floor (lounge and concierges).

:thumbsup2 Got it. Looking at Beach Club on Google Earth, the parking lot is much farther away than I was picturing. Now I think I have myself oriented correctly. Thanks again, and I hope we see you in June!

I have convinced my family to give BC a try. We have done WL our last two visits. This time I got to choose because we are celebrating my birthday :dance3:

The Baker Family will be staying at BC April 9-15.

Here is my attempt to explain the procedure for entering EPCOT through the IG before park opening. Thanks to Mike (MickeyT) for his input.

Let me know if there is something that should be tweaked, changed or clarified!

Dee

Guests who enter EPCOT through the International Gateway prior to the park opening time should proceed on the walkway outside of UK and Canada. Cast members are stationed along the way (bridge to France being #1) to guide you through UK and Canada. After you pass the last little cart coming out of Canada you are directed onto the small pathway that leads toward the Fountain of Nations. There you will experience a real rope with CMs and characters milling around. Across from you, maybe forty yards away, are the guests that arrived from the front entrance.

After the countdown, the rope is removed and CMs will escort you to Soarin’ in an orderly fashion. Usually, you will arrive at Soarin' either at the same time or just a moment or so after those who enter through the main gates.

If you have a pre-opening breakfast scheduled at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, you will provide your name and/or reservation to a CM at the International Gateway. You proceed through UK and Canada as described above, then continue past Mexico to Norway.

I know several of you visit regularly during the month of May, and that the Flower and Garden festival ends on May 15th, but do they remove everything on that day?

We will be arriving on May 23rd, any chance we will get to see anything?

Thanks

Hello,

In regard to the pool. How deep is the deepest part? I do not know how to swim so I am a wee bit worried:rolleyes1 I am embarassed to admit it but I had a scare when I was younger and never learned how to swim. My DH loves to swim! My DD can't because of her disability so we usually wade around which I am completely fine with!:goodvibes DS enjoys the water too! As does older DD!:woohoo: Maybe in mid Nov. we will not be enjoying the pool, I am not sure?

Bumping up your question. Unfortunately, I have not spent nearly enough time at Stormalong Bay, but I am hoping one of the frequent visitors to Y&B can answer your questions with more detail.

Take a look at the SAB birds eye map on the first page. There are 3 main sections of the pool.

On the left is the zero-entry, kiddie area with the sandbar for digging and building sandcastles. ?: Is this whole area pretty shallow?

The middle section is the lazy river. I do know that some parts of the lazy river are very deep, 8 feet.

The area on the right is the large, free form pool area. This is where the slide lets outs and there is also a whirlpool. I know some areas of this pool have depths of 3-4 feet. ?:Anyone know if the depth varies in different parts of this pool, or is it 3-4 feet everywhere?

There is also a kiddie slide and shallow pool area right behind the ladder that takes you to the top of the Jib Slide. There are some great photos on the front page of this area. ?: Anyone know the depth of the water here?

This is a wonderful source of info.!:yay:

I think you have an excellent chance of it being warm to use the pool. The average temp in Nov. is around 80 for high and 60 for low.

I've been getting pin codes and discount emails for the past 6 months.
I finally got one good for next Dec and took advantage of it. I had never received them for many years and have no idea why or how I became a target.
I did update all of my online info with Disney so maybe that helped.
Good luck.

Are you registered with Disney or have you ordered a planning DVD? If not give that a try. About a month after I did both of those things I received a 40% off pin code. I also have a habit of visiting the Disney website on a regular basis and getting a vacation quote. I would assume after doing this a number of times, without booking, they might send you a pin to get you to book a vacation. Good luck! :goodvibes

Thanks guys!! Congrats on the pixie dust too! I will update my info and request the planning DVD...I would like to see that regardless of whether it helps with a PIN anyway so thanks for the suggestions!:thumbsup2

Does anyone (Teena, Dee os anyone with more knowledge/experience) know how many SV CL rooms have a king bed? I have made that our number one request. We are really hoping to get one. I have back pain issues and DH uses a CPap. We were even thinking about switching resorts to get a king. I couldn't bring myself to do it. We are way too excited to be able to try the BC. This will be our very first time staying deluxe. Thanks for any info! :goodvibes

Thanks so much for this explanation. Seems easy peasy now.

We've done EMH through the IG the last 2 years, and found it to be a piece of cake. It was sort of a treat, walking (almost) alone through WS on the way in. You can get some nice photos at that time.

I'd say most of the pool was about 3-4.5 feet deep. The deepest section was over towards Hannah's. It is the large circular flowing area, and is around 7' deep in spots, I think. You see lots of folks on floats/tubes bobbing around in circles there. If you wish, it is easy to stay out of.
