I know this is early, but better safe then sorry!

I did try a PTR for my last trip but did not get any responses, I guess that should have been an insight to my trip-spent the first day at Urgent Care. Well, we won't go into that unless you all want to hear about it, but because of the bad trip, I get to plan a BIG Trip.

Cast of Characters:

Jerry (Goofy) DH, he will turn 44 on August 6, 2011. He really doesn't get to excited over anything, but will do anything for me!

Chris (Donald Duck) Me, I will turn 40 on August 2, 2011. I love Disney and Donald Duck. Our 10th anniversary will be August 4, 2011

Rob (won't give us a character) DBIL, he will turn 40 on July 27, 2011. He is like his brother, doesn't really get excited-let's me do the planning.

We will have another person who we have yet to meet. My DBIL will be taking someone.

We will be there July 30-August 5, 2011. :yay: 6 nights, I have never been able to do 6 nights at Disney:cool1:

We're actually celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary August 2011 as well (the 5th) and we will be going to Disney to celebrate as well, since we did our honeymoon and 5th anniversary there, so can't miss our 10th there as well. That being said, I think we're going to celebrate a bit late in 2011, since we really want to see the Christmas decorations all done up at the parks, so we'll be celebrating our anniversary a couple of months late in December 2011 at Disney.

We have looked at several hotels and ran some numbers and this is what we have come up with:

We will be staying our first night, July 30, 2011, at POP, we stayed there this year and loved it and since we will be getting in later in the day the first day we have decided to save some money and stay here one night. Then on July 31, 2011, we will move over to the Contemporary for 5 nights. The Contemporary is a place we have always wanted to stay, but have not. Although, we would consider moving our dates for free dining!

We will be doing 2 day park hopper tickets. We are only wanting to do Epcot and of course Magic Kingdom. The rest of the days we will be relaxing by the pool.

We are doing the dining plan (if it is still around). Since this will be an adult only trip, we are planning on doing alot of resturants we normally would not do with the kids.

My DH and DBIL think I am nuts doing all this planning now. As I said in my first post, our last trip was not that great and planning puts me in my "happy" Place again. Plus, it will also be Disneyworlds 40th Birthday, so we have to plan ahead. We started our savings account just for this trip the day after we returned from our last trip.

I am ready to go!:cheer2:

I ws debating doing our PTR b/c we aren't going until Dec 09. You have given me the push to go ahead & do it.

Go for it, let me know what the title is so I can join. I figured if I started early, I could get more ideas from other readers of what to do for all our celebrations. Plus, I will forget if I don't do it know

We will be on the dining plan for this adult only trip. Here are some of our dining ideas, let me know what you think, we get 5 of each:

TS
Big River Grille at the Boardwalk
Grand Floridian Cafe
Cape May Breakfast-Since they just added Donald
Teppan Edo
Ohana's

CS-we are not sure what we are going to do for the days we are staying at the resort (non park days), please let me know if you have any suggestions.
Cosmic Rays
Sommerfest
The Sand Bar or Grab & Go at the Contemporary

:lmao: Here's the title for my PTR, "DH went on a Year Long Vacation to a Desert Island & Now Its MY turn, 9 DAYS in WDW"

I really need to add somemore stuff.

Well not much going on now. I believe we have figured out our table service meals, but counter service is another story. Anyone have any help for us?

I know what you mean. I have every intention of doing more on my PTR, but I really need get some scrapbooking done 1st. Child #3 will be here in 12 wks & Child # 2 doesn't have a scrapbook yet. So can you give us any info on person #4. Doesn't mean yes they are going. You are just ramdomly talking about this person you met. LOL

Well, what we know is she and my DBIL have a lot in common and she has only been to Disney once when she was 3. She wants to go back, but does not know yet that we already have a trip planned. She loves the outdoors, rides horses. That is about all I know about her at this point, but I have 2 years and 9 months to get to know her. lol

Well, I got to meet our 4th person the other night and she seems like the perfect person for my DBIL. She is very nice, I think we would all have fun at Disney. Like I said, she was only there once and that was when she was 3. Her favorite character is Goofy. She is a teacher, I believe 4th grade. She now Knows we are going to Disney in 2011, I gave them a copy of my binder to look at, so they can "help" plan our trip. I am trying to get another trip in before that, but it depends upon my daughters college payments.

Glad she fits in so well w/ your group. That would be so nice to go w/ someone you get along w/. I say your DD gets a job & pays for her own college, so you can go to Disney. :rotfl:

That would be nice. :) We are hoping she will get some scholarships or Free money lol

Well, looks like next year we will be going to Myrtle Beach instead of Disney, can't beat a free trip I guess. It will be nice to relax on the beach. We were suppose to go a couple years ago, but the day we were to leave, my aunt past away.
