2011/2012 Reunion Cruise?

We LOVED Vero!!!! I was so sad to come back to Arkansas. I'm ready to pack my bags!!! We found an apartment complex that we REALLY liked (sorry no pictures. someone from the company was living in the model apartment at the time). It was small, but the layout was great and it seemed so much bigger. It's called Mission Vero Green. We didn't look for jobs this trip since it was just a scouting trip. We have decided to wait until August to go back down there since Robby gets his other week of vacation the first part of August. So the new plan is to start putting in online application wherever we can the first week of August, then the second or third week of August we will go down there hand out resumes, fill out applications and do any follow-ups or any interviews. We already have 3 days book in Vero in September with Robby's DB and DSIL, so we will use that time for more follow-ups and hopefullly interviews. I'm calling the Disney jobline every other day to find out if there are any jobs opening at the Vero Beach resort. I REALLY want to work there. At this point right now though, I will work just about anywhere to get us down there. I just hope that everything works out and we can get down there this year.

Tina,

I'm glad you had a successful Florida trip. Now that you know where you want to live, you have a starting point and the rest should fall into place. Good luck! :wizard:

Hi Stranger!

How have you been? I think you will appreciate this ... my nephew is going into the Marines in August. He graduates from HS in June and turns 18 in August. He's really excited!!!! It will be a good excuse to visit California next year. ;)

I see in your ticker you are headed to Peru with ABD. I know you have done other ABD trips. I now know why you like them so much. At first, Bill and I had sticker shock with the price of theirs Tours. Now, we know they are top knotch and well worth it. We plan to do the London and Paris tour with this kids in a few years. At first we wanted to do an Italy ABD tour. But now, we want to do a Med cruise to tour Italy. I can't wait!!!! :woohoo: Since, it is in a few years, it will give us time to save $$$$$ and do it "right".

I'm still working on the Trip Report. It has been fun to relive the amazing trip. However, it may have ruined me for future Disneyland trips. Now, I'll want a VIP Tour Guide every trip. It was fun getting the VIP treatment. :cloud9:

In case others want to join us, we are on the Disney Dream for Thanksgiving in 2011. Also, after meeting the Podcast Crew and so many great DISers on the ABD trip, we are booked for the Podcast Cruise 2.0 this December!!! The more, the merrier. :dance3:

We have always wanted to be at WDW for Christmas. Since, we are putting our California trip on hold this winter. We decided to stay an extra week and a half after PCC 2.0 and spend Christmas with Mickey. :santa: A dream come true! :wizard:

If you are ever in the Dallas area, please let me know. Don't be a stranger!

Your trip report is awesome!! I would so love to do that one one day!

I agree with you on the Tiki Room. I don't like the new one at WDW, I liked the original one better! It was great to show our kids the real one when we went to DL in 2008.

Yes, now that I have a real job, I don't have nearly as much time to get online! I've been crazy busy with work, but I get to stay home the next few weeks until we go to WDW at the end of the month. Of course the day after we get back I fly to Knoxville for work. But I made sure to make my flight out in the evening, so I can sleep in!

You'll have a great time cruising the Med! Royal Caribbean, Princess, and NCL are all great options. Although I'll only sail NCL in a suite based on my past experiences. The good news is their suite prices are very competitive. Of course DCL is great too if the timing works out for you.

I'm looking forward to our upcoming ABD trip. We're changing planes in Miami on the way home. So of course, I included a 6 night layover so we can take a New Years Eve cruise on Navigator of the Seas! It'll be a great way to relax after the ABD trip. I'd been debating whether or not to pay for business class air, but by flying economy we saved enough to pay for a balcony cabin in the cruise.

Got to get to bed. Our General is visiting my squadron today and tomorrow. I intended to get to bed early tonight, but Jasmine fell off a scooter at a friends house which meant a trip to the Urgent Care and pharmacy this evening!

Take care everyone, I think of you even if I don't get on here much!

Today is the first anniversary of the death of Stacy's son. Her status on Facebook today is a tribute to him. If you have a minute, please reach out to her--she seems to be having a tough time.

I hope she is alright. :flower3: Please give Jasmine our best. I am sure she's excited that school is almost out for the summer. Will and Emily can't wait! Cole starts Kindergarten in August. Where does the time go?????? :sad2:
