2011/2012 Reunion Cruise?

I can't believe the Magic is heading back to Europe so quickly. It seems like she was just there. :wizard: I know you will have a "magical" trip. I am sure you will take lots of pictures to post. So, we can live vicariously through you. ;) Europe (especially the Med) is still on our list of things to do with the kids. One day ... :cloud9:

 We board a shiny Southwest plane in 27 days!!! We're heading to CA in April for our Adventures by Disney trip with the Podcast Crew. We recently received some great and very special news only for our trip ... :worship: we get to have breakfast at Club 33. It will be opened just our group. I can't wait! The whole trip was going to be a "once in a lifetime" experience, but eating at Club 33 really topped it off. :woohoo: We get to take as many pictures as we want in Club 33 and even shop in their exclusive shop. I will make sure to post some pictures from this amazing trip. :wizard:

I'm SOOOOOO jealous!!!!!! I might have to send you some money to buy me a pin. It's the only way I'll ever get one!! :lmao:

Well guys I think we've finally decided what we want to do. We're moving to FL!!!! Instead of Orlando, we are looking at Vero Beach. We are going there with my parents next Thursday, Friday, and Saturday to check it out. Then if all goes okay and we like it, we are going to come back and put our house on the market. I'm so excited!!!!

We loved Vero Beach!!

:wizard: Good luck! If we didn't have kids, we would have been down there years ago.

:wizard: I saw your post on Melanie's ABD CA Trip Report thread. I know you and Robby would love this trip. However, I am not going to lie, this is an expensive trip. :scared1: With the ABD trip fee, Guide tips, airfare, car rental, extra two nights hotel in LA, nanny fee for the kids at home, etc ... So, this really is going to be a "once in a lifetime" trip for Bill and I. :cloud9:

:dance3: We are leaving the three kiddos at home with a Nanny. I broke down and subscribed to nannies4hire.com I have been interviewing Nanny candidates for a few weeks now. I finally found the right one yesterday. It is such a relief to know the kids are going to be taken care of while we are gone. My Mom has graciously agreed to sleep over with the kids each night. But, she has to work during the daytime. So, that is where the Nanny comes in. She will take Will and Emily to school and take care of Cole during the daytime. Then, pick the kids up from school and entertain them until my Mom gets home from work. Also, I made it a requirement that the Nanny must like dogs. So, our DISdog (JJ) could stay home while we are gone. He gets along great with my Mom. Now that big hurdle has been crossed, I can get excited for this upcoming trip. You don't know how much stress this Nanny situation has caused me over the past few months. I wasn't sure who was going to watch the kids during the daytime. We have already paid the balance on our trip and if we couldn't go, we would have been out ALL the money. I'm glad it hasn't come to that. :upsidedow

California, here we come!

That's awesome that you guys found a nanny. That will be such a help.
Before we seriously thought about FL we thought about the ABD trip, and it would be a once in a lifetime trip, but there was no way we could justify the money. With airfare, trip and the amount of spending money I would need :lmao:, it was going to be around $10,000!!! Robby said no. :sad1: I hope you guys have a blast, and I expect a full trip report with TONS of pictures.
When we get back next week, I'll post pictures of all the apartments and places that we look at to get all of your opinions. :goodvibes

Congratulations on finally making your decision! I'm starting to think about moving down there when I retire. With the cuts that our new governor is making to state pensions, it may be in my best interest to retire now and find something else to do until I can collect Social Security in a few years. I've been staying where I am because of the good pension and other benefits, most of which are being cut.

Vero Beach is a really nice area. We've visited our Salvation Army unit there .... and the Disney DVC resort.

Let us know when you make it and we'll come visit. :thumbsup2

Good for you. You are going to make the move we wished we made 40 years ago. Good Luck, fingers crossed! :grouphug:

Robby just got us tickets to go see Star Wars in Concert!!!!! I'm super excited!!!!!!

Robbie and Tina,

We were in your great state this past week. The kids had Spring Break. So, we went camping at Lake Catherine State Park. We couldn't be in the area and not do the "touristy" Hot Springs stuff too. We took the kids up to the Hot Springs Mountain Tower. The view from atop the tower was amazing. We could see for miles. Coming home from Arkansas we drove through the Ouachita Mountains into Oklahoma. It was a beautiful clear day (in the high 60's). Arkansas has some great State Parks. We'll be back to try some more ... :thumbsup2

We went to the Fort Worth Stockyards and to the Zoo earlier in the week. The kids had a very busy Spring Break. This time last year, we were driving home from Disneyland California. :cloud9:

That's so awesome!!! We loved Hot Springs the few times we've gone. Never made it up to the mountain, but it is really beautiful down there. Glad you guys had a good time.
Brack is right, the kids are growing up SO fast!!!

Real near Hot Springs is the only diamond mine (really an open field) in the USA. Anyone can pay a fee to go and dig for diamonds. It would only take one or two to pay for a trip to WDW! :woohoo:

:wizard: We saw signs for that on our way to Hot Springs. It is called Crater of Diamonds State Park. It is on our list for a future camping trip. :thumbsup2 Will's eyes lit up when I mentioned diamonds. He's 9! ;)

:dance3: Yes, I tried to put a book on the kids' heads to make them stop growing. But, it hasn't worked. I give Will another year and half and he'll be patting me on the head. I dread that day. :confused3 My babies are growing up. Cole starts Kindergarten in August. Then, I'm a free woman during the days!!!!
