Ugh!! So mad at DH!! He scored a ticket to tonights game!! I wanna go! Thankfully he's going with Caps fans so he should be well protected! Lol

What a way for Seguin to break out of a scoring slump!
Game 7 coming up. Now there may be a chance.

First off, Game 5 which I was at. The first power play was so frustrating. The Bruins have a bad habit of doing too much perimeter passing looking for the perfect shot. IT NEVER COMES! At some point the puck gets picked off and sent down the ice.
The non-call when Corvo went down was a killer. I was screaming he's hurt, he can't move, but the refs did nothing and it cost. I think that was worst than the tick-tack call on Pouliot that lost the game.
The Garden was too somber until the Bruins wiped out the two goal lead in the second. Then we erupted and didn't stop until the last goal which deflated everyone. At that point I had gone beyond frustrated to annoyed that the Bruins could NOT get a lead. I kept yelling, "Shoot the puck, fight for the puck and go to the net", but not enough.

Now, Game 6, and finally they get the first goal and a lead, but it seems neither team can get away from the other. Six one goal games, incredible. But the Bruins let the Caps control that second period. That's why it got tied up. I mean, how many two on ones did the Caps get in that period? Of course one was going to go in! Then to let Ovechkin tie it with that little throw at the net? Gimme a break!

Well anyway, we now have a chance Weds. Hopefully with Krecji and Seguin scoring in this game will open the floodgates and they will play all out and get a multi-goal lead.

Any comments on Ottawa up on the Rangers? Who would have thought.

The Bruins are killing me again. I thought after all the cardiac moments from last year, I'd be desensatized to them. But no... The tight chest and left arm pain are still prevelent. And yesterday had no shortage of them. I was screaming like someone dropped a piano on my foot when I saw the puck trickle in front of the net after the Seguin shot. Not believing that there was NO ONE there to bang it home. Thankfully, Ferrence came up and roofed it (PHEEEEWWWWW). Then I was glad that I wasn't at Disney World at the time of Ovechkin's goal. I barked out an obsenity so crisp and loud, it would've made Ralphie from A Christmas Story blush. My hand is still reeling from punching the wall watching Chara dangle, dangle dangle around Green and Holtby only to amount to nothing. And the Seguin goal... Sweet euphoria. The race up the ice, the slight flinch to freeze Holtby, and then the perfect angle shot for game winner. HOZANNA!!!!!

So here we are. Game 7... AGAIN. But, for the first time this series, we are going into a game when our leading scorers have a number next to their names on the score sheets. Let's hope that yesterday was just the break out game they needed and not just an anomoly.

My dog def came running into the room a few times yesterday to make sure I wasn't dead after I started screaming at the tv..... oh boy Bruins.. you sure know how to make me freak out.

however... this whole "dumping the puck" thing isn't working out and makes me SO nervous when they do it.... and the long shots from the middle of no where aren't helping either...

DD was livid that Chara got hit, she wanted to walk to DC to kick some Cap butt!! LOL
Lovin' Seguin! Was glad Corvo was on the bench.

DS15 was thrilled to see Rask dressed and on the bench.

haha my father was like that too! the ENTIRE time "they're gonna blow it... oh see now they're just handed them the game... oh that just cost them... they lost! There is no way they're coming out of this alive"

when they won though he comes out from where we hid him (we had had enough of his whining and attitude) and he goes I knew they were going to win! oh well...

Every time I walked away they started losing so I'd walk back in long enough for the Bruins to get a goal and then leave again. It was so nerve racking!

I am just jumping into this thread...As a fan of the Caps farm team (the Hershey Bears), I am cheering for the Bruins!!! I am a HUGE fan of Johnny Boychuk back from when he was a rookie in the AHL. I also would like to have some of the Bears players back in time for the Bears Wednesday playoff game.

I was at dinner last night with my parents and I kept watching the score on my phone. In the middle of dinner, I saw that the Bruins scored in OT and I said LOUDLY "YESSSS!!"

Now on to game 7!!!

Great series, sad to lose. Knew we were in trouble when 17, 63 and 37 couldn't get going. Hopefully the Celtics will fair better.

Anyone else see the irony between tonights overtime goal and Game 3 of the 1998 playoffs? Im not going to go into detail, but the Bruins super fans should figure it out.

After the Pens lost, I was rooting for Boston. Just realized the 2008, 2009, 2010 & 2011 champs are all out in the first round. Western Champ Vancouver out, Eastern Champ NYR going to game 7. I've always said seeding isn't a big deal, if you make it to the playoffs anyone can win.

If NJ gets knocked out tomorrow, no team that has won the Cup since 2000 will be left in the play-offs. On top of that, none of the remaining Western teams have EVER won it. Freaky year.

I'm rooting for a Blues vs. Caps Final.
