I have to say the HA bathroom didn't work for us at all, but we just dealt with it. As soon as we got in the lobby to check in, I saw Teena & she let me know that the resort was completely sold out, so I knew there was no chance to ask to be moved.
The roll-in shower is very very small - I'm not sure how someone in a wheelchair could even get the chair in there. The bench was down & stuck in that position - which left no room to stand, so it was very awkward to half-sit, half-stand to shower. This meant the small shower curtain wan't tight to the opening & the water sprayed out all over the sink & walls (and any items out there). Because it's a roll-in, the water just runs out into the bathroom (there's a drain in the shower and by the toilet), all over the floor. Ugh! We went through bath towels at an alarming rate!
The fan in the bathroom was on a timer on the wall - it looked like an old fashioned heater timer - you turned the knob & it clicked backwards for the length of time you choose. I had never seen that in a Disney resort before.
There's also absolutely no counter or shelf space in there - and I like to spread my toiletries & costmetics out when getting ready. The sink comes right out of the wall so that a wheelchair could roll up under it. We used the kitchenette area (right across from the bathroom door) as our make-shift bathroom counter area.
The only other thing we noticed outside the bathroom was that the queen bed was very low to the ground, probably for easy transfer from a wheelchair, and the balcony was HUGE.
We did the best we could since we had no choice but if I was assigned to one again for a longer stay, I'd request to be moved. Here are pics of the HA bathroom:

I LOVED the studio & would definitely get it again for just 2 people. The decor was light & bright, and not worn out like I had read somewhere. The room was very clean. The sofa bed was the easiest one I ever had to pull out & put away. Once it pulled out it was already made up. Having the extra large balcony really made it feel super spacious. We kept the balcony door open most of the time so it was like having another room.
I'm SO excited to be going back to BC in TWELVE DAYS!!!! I absolutely loved The Poly, but if I had to choose, I'd pick BC hands down! I feel "at home" in the Epcot Resort Area & BC is so close to Epcot, you just can't beat it. Illuminations is my very favorite thing in WDW, and being able to wak there in less than 5 min. & then back is just pure perfection. We did visit AKL for breakfast at Boma, and I do love it there as well. I'm thinking AKL/Kidani for a fall trip, then back to BC/YC for winter! I need to get tickets for the boys for the next trip - DH usually gets convention rate tickets, but I'm thinking of just getting them APs. Then I HAVE to go back a few times to get my money's worth, right??? That's how it works, correct?!?!?

My AP expires tomorrow, does anyone know if they can take care of renewing it for me once I check into CL, or should I just do it online from here? I'll need it to check in I guess since I booked with an AP rate.
