Yay! I love entertaining threads.....

*reads*

*twitch*

Yeah. I don't get people. :sad2:

Poly Dude - I picture him wearing a baby blue leisure suit.

That. Is. Awesome.:rotfl2:

MY MICKEY PUSHPIN IS TOUCHING SPACESHIP EARTH.

that is all.

YAAAY! I was going to mention Tinkerbell looked like she was...ahem...giving Mickey and Minnie a little tap to KNOCK OUT THE CUTE ALREADY! (Fairies can be SUCH a pain at times....;))

But I'll bet that CSR has PHONE BOOKS IN THE ROOM!!!!!!!!

Oh wait.

They don't have Club Level do they....

never mind.

~MM

HAHAHAHA. You know, I realize I forgot to take a picture of our CL Phonebook on our last trip. Bother!:lmao:

Truly, that was perhaps the funniest thread ever.

Starting to get excited and nervous about our trip. So far I don't think DH has a clue! All should go well if the snow will let up in Buffalo! Weather forecast is showing snow and rain for a solid week! Please just let us get there...if we should get stranded at Beach Club for a couple of days:confused3 I wouldn't complain!!

I'll cross my fingers for you! I'm always worried about traveling in February around here, we almost always have a snowstorm (usually the only one of the year!) in mid-Feb. Like you said, I don't mind getting snowed IN at Disney, just not snowed OUT!

The breakfasts there are really nice. Great oatmeal, nice pastries, bagels, hard boiled eggs, cut up fruit, etc. I think you'll really enjoy it every morning even if there is no phone book in your CL room!

I can vouch for the BC/YC breakfast in CL... SUPER yummy. I know it sounds a bit odd but the hard boiled eggs are always perfectly cooked. This is apparently an impossible task in my home so I always appreciate places that can do it. The croissants are super yummy and easy to grab and go on the way to the parks!:thumbsup2

Of course, it's just not the same, without your cup of coffee and phone book to read each morning...but hey, we all have to make sacrifices, right?

I'm now CRAVING some oatmeal and a criossant! And I can eat it while being stared at by the CM standing over me! YUM sounds great, can't wait!

I'll be sure to get pics of the phone book to post, I'm on it! :thumbsup2

And may I say, GO GIANTS. DW (that's "dear" MM)

Is she checking upon you? Of course she's DEAR!! ... and so are you! :grouphug:

And I thought I was the only trouble maker here...

Not by a long shot! This board is filled with subversives, persons of interest and the usual suspects!

I'm so excited over learning to multi-quote that I think I added this one by mistake - gotta love that multi quote trigger finger!

You are not the first to realize that it may be a mistake to Quote Marlton Mom....

OMG!!! This is so funny!

FINALLY we have Beach Club RESORT WEAR appearing at the Marketplace!!!

Ladies, this is the outfit you can purchase for your man when he packs in a less than satisfactory manner!!! From what I understand undies are optional with this look... :crazy2:

~MM

Just playing with a new ticker...wanted to see it in a post.

You guys are really making me want to go ahead and splurge on BC CL. I have ressies at POFQ because of Fall Costs and if my mom comes along she'll want to pay part of it, but she's newly retired and POFQ would be more in her budget we don't do DDP and if it's just the girls we really will just snack and not do huge meals so CL would work for us.

You guys are a bad influence...maybe I'll save a couple of trips and see if I get a code...

splurge....save....splurge....save.....splurge....save....ARGH!

OMG now stop with the pictures!!!! You do realize I have to share WDW with Poly Dude while I'm there....might have to take a day trip over to Poly while he's there to check things out a bit...:rolleyes1

And Lord help me if I actually do come across someone wearing a leisure suit - I truly might wet myself!

My poor friends that I'm going with....they will soon wonder why I'm obsessed with hanging out at Poly with my camera! We're at Poly 2 nts but while Poly Dude is there, I'm at BCV. Maybe I should flip flop the ressie (then I can post on the RC's thread!!!) Actually, I had tried to book it in reverse so we'd be at BC for the start of F&G, but Poly only had LV available with the AP discount for those 1st two nts, so we switched it up.

He's A WILD AND CRAZY GUY!!! I'm sure when all those night clubs were open on Pleasure Island he was a regular. Now he's pretty much homeless and looking for love in all the wrong places....

Can you imagine him and Beyonce in a "Single Ladies" dance off??

Hi, y'all... we are headed down in 10 days, so our Online Check-in time is here. The consensus is NOT to do it if we'd like to make a room request, correct? I need a room close to an elevator/ the lobby door, as I had a bone removed from my foot before Christmas and walking is going to be a challenge this trip.

We didn't do it last year at the Poly, but I wanted to make sure nothing changed.

That coupled with the visual is just TOO MUCH!

From everything I have read around here, yes, you are better off not doing on-line check-in if you have a specific request. You might have better luck talking to the CM at check-in.

See I requested that for my stepdad who had a torn MCL (lobby/elevator). BUT we spent almost all our time at epcot and if I had requested to be by the NON Lobby elevator I would have been way closer to the secret entrance that is close to the IG entrance at Epcot and to the quiet pool where we spent most of our swim time.

If you will be eating a lot in the resort and using SAB and buses/boats a lot then lobby will be closer but walking to epcot and boardwalk and using the quiet pool, I'd stick to the back elevator as a request.

I :lovestruc this thread.

First, you all understand my insane ticker excitement. Well, except MM. LOL I'll share Beach Club Dee's Harvey's Bristol Creme any day, as long as I can make out with her common law husband. He sounds like a hottie.

Speaking of hotties, the picture of Poly Dude was JUST as I imagined him. I would post one of "he-who-shall-not-be-named" but I fear further retribution. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hFgR0m-9FmM

I WANT to see the thread where the guy lay on the floor of California Grill with his kid to get him to sleep!!!! Anyone got a link????

Hmmm... good to know. I'm all healed up, but still in physical therapy and my foot gets really, really sore at the end of the evening. We've had the trip planned since last summer long before I broke it, and my DD 8 would have been crushed if we had to reschedule. Mommy will just tough it out. (HELLLOOOO, painkillers!)

We are going to be all over the place all week, so now I'm not sure WHAT to ask for. We'll be doing SAB & getting drinks from the Marketplace, riding the busses to AK & MK...

Ok I did not know I could have 2 wait lists for DVC at the same time! I called again today to see if there were any openings at BCV's.. no such luck... but as with all things Disney it's who you have on the phone giving you information.. the person at DVC was so nice and gave me all kinds of info! So I am wait listed for up to 7 days before the trip.. fingers crossed I'll get the first 2 days at BCV's!!!
