I can't see the image anymore but would like to add that it would be nice to have space to write in your log-in ID with a Sharpie. Mine is a pain to say to people--I always have to spell it. If it can be written out on the button, it would save some explanation.

Uh-oh...that will make mine look funny with the pin.

BTW...LOVE the pin idea and would be happy to contribute as well. I just saw the latest design...it's perfect!!

Here is the latest graphic for the BC/YC pin. She wasn't happy about having to "tweek" it so hopefully everyone likes it.

If so, I can create the pins this weekend and UPS to Teena.

Oh no, that's unacceptable! And your daughter already has plans for next summer ... she gave me loads of reasons why you have to come next year. So with that being said, you should order your pin!

First of all this is the nicest thread I have ever followed on the Dis!

My trip isn't until Feb. ((I'm running for my first (Disney Princess) half-marathon)) do you think there will be any pins left? I would love to have one and contribute to the cost.

I know I will have tons of question when I get closer to the trip. For now I am enjoying reading about of yours!

Does anyone know how many CL rooms there are at both Yacht & Beach Club Resort?

& do all CL rooms look the same as standard rooms? But there's just little perks like dressing gowns etc? & the obvious big perk of the CL lounges.

How about this?

If people want the pins mailed to their houses before their trip, they should send a PM to janloz asking for her address. Then you should mail her a small postage prepaid and self addressed padded envelope (these are very cheap at Walmart). Janloz is doing so much, there is no way she should be spending money on postage and envelopes.

Starting 9/19 and after, if you want one waiting for you at the Y&B when you arrive, you need to PM me (TeenaS) with the name on your reservation, arrival date and how many pins you want. Since I only work part-time and travel alot, please give me at least 3 weeks notice. Janloz is going to mail me a supply.

If you need pins before 9/19, send a PM to janloz and make arrangements directly with her.

The standard CL rooms are the same as the standand non-CL rooms except on the fifth floor.
The garden CL rooms are the same as the garden non-CL rooms except on the fifth floor.
The waterview CL rooms are the same as the waterview non-CL rooms except on the fifth floor.

The deluxe rooms and the regular suites (not Presidental and Vice Presidential) are on the first, second, third and fourth floors. However with these rooms your key gives you access to the fifth floor.

All club level rooms (including the suites and deluxe rooms) give you IPO service, turndown service and a few extra perks, the biggest in my opinion, being the lounge.

There are several of you overlapping with my trip. It is just dh and myself, I have really short brown hair and he has totally gray hair. We usually wear matching shirts or at least shirts in the same color. If ya'll see me, yell hey! If you even think it's me, yell "lucas" and see how many people turn around!

I could ship UPS for you on Monday. Here are the rates:

3rd Day: $12 Arrive Thurs
reg: $9 Arrive thursday

But you would have to pay the fee from hotel too.

OR USPS Priority Mail would be about $5 for their Priority box and they say 2 day service. Can't believe I have another beds question but here goes ... Are there any king bed rooms available on Yacht Club club level?

We're a family of three and, while our preschooler does not sleep with us at home, he usually does (best intentions aside) when we're on the road and we all fit comfortably into a king bed, which is what we have at home. My husband is afraid we'll end up sleeping in separate beds (one with kid, one alone) with two queens and we were also thinking a king room, if available, would give us more floor space.

4th floor is great too since there is no light on all night on the balcony like on the 5th floor.

Thanks so funny you should mention it. I searched high and low to find the switch to shut the light off when we returned late at night. I couldn't find it so I went to bed anyway. By morning, I forget to ask concierge about it. Why are the 5th floor balcony lights on all night??

We're arriving tomorrow night. We have 3 little kids: DS 6, DD 4, and DS 2. My older 2 kids are about the same size even though they're 2 years apart. My name's Amanda and I'm 5'2" with shoulder-length brown hair. My DH is 6'4" and is Tom. I made little lime green Mickey ears for my purse, the diaper bag, and the strollers (we'll have 2 strollers: a double and a single).

I like the new design - it's really pretty. I'd hate to get the designer upset with more changes, but the only thing I'm a little torn about is that it's missing the Villas and a good 30-40% of us are BCV people. It certainly doesn't matter to me but it might to them. Maybe the BCV logo could just be added (no pictures) ... it would probably fit a little above the W of Walt Disney World.

The only other thing is that the name of the resort is the Yacht & Beach Club, not the Beach & Yacht Club. Again, I'm not the one wearing it so if all of you don't care, it's ok with me, but I'm alittle bit of a perfectionist and I'd rather see it reworked until it's perfect than to rush into it. What do you all think? To me it's sort of like saying the Floridian Grand Resort instead of the real name, the Grand Floridian Resort.

Is the new design a square pin then ... about the size of the birthday buttons and first visit buttons?

There's certainly no rush. Let's tweak it until everybody is absolutely sure this is it. I'm leaving Tuesday and won't be back to work until the 5th and I get home real late on the 4th. Even if you got them done and mailed to me this weekend, I doubt I'd even have time to get them in envelopes and take to work on the 5th and 6th so that means I couldn't get them to work until the 12th of September.

If the designer doesn't want to make any changes, please don't worry about it ... don't upset her. If everybody likes it the way it is, then go ahead and do it. Those two little changes should be real easy though. I do love it ... it is really awesome!

Just my opinion ... I'll go along with the majority.

Hi Guys I'm a pretty new "YC/BC Dis -er" but I'd love one of the pins for my February 5th trip....it would be wonderful to meet some other Dis friends! I agree with Teena about the "perfectionist" thing....I think it is best to be completely happy with the design before distribution. A designer will usually understand that and want to make the "wearer" happy. The changes you suggested where not major ones and would probably be very easy to implement, as the main bones of the pin seem to be fine! That's just my 2 cents from a newbie to the thread....personally, I would prefer to wear the pin with the proper name of the resort (most major change needed)....as for adding the BCV logo, I also think it could easily be added to the middle as Teena stated (above the W of World). I hope they come together and am looking forward to wearing one in February! Tweak it till it's right, I say
I am so excited for my trip....and I FINALLY feel 100% confident with my resort choice! Thank you for being so willing to awnser my questions, which I am sure must seem pretty mundane after awhile....but the YC/BC Disers are always so friendly and willing to chime in and help!
