2010: What's on the Emerald Aisle?

Oct 13, tons of cars in the AM. Lots of Chargers and Grand Marquis, an Altima, Commander, and a Towncar. Also there were a ton of Kia Borrego's which I've never seen before.

Edited to add, this was the ES. Don't remember much of the EA, other than Malibus and HHRs.

Oct 15th - A side

No SUV's - plenty of the normal sedans as posted above.

We selected a Toyota Camry - very nice car :thumbsup2

B side at noon on 10/21- I got a BRAND new bright red Charger. It had all of 11 miles on it. Odd thing though is that it is a new 2010 and not 2011 according to the paperwork. No matter, I love the car.

There were lots of Chargers but not a single mini van on the EA. Not good for our December trip when I am really hoping to snag a minivan.

You're not alone. We're hoping to snag something with seating for 6 on our December trip too. Not a necessity, because my parents will have their own car, but it would be nice for those times that we want to go somewhere together.

I'm glad to see that National is keeping their fleet up to date.

Did you check out the Executive Aisle? We were there earlier this month and there were many minivans and SUVs. The choices change so often. Getting a minivan is a Murphy's Law -- if you don't need it, you'll get it. We arrive next Sunday and will post back then.

Arrived this afternoon on B side. Mostly sedans, one HHR on Emerald Aisle. Got an Impala with 365 miles on it!

No, I didn't check EA because we walked up to the first row being Emerald Aisle and the Charger was right there. I grabbed it. The odd thing is that it is a brand new 2010, not 2011. I wonder if national is getting a deal taking old model new cars from Chrysler?

Dropped off our car, on friday 10/23 A side. About 1:30pm. Did a quick look at EA. Just saw chargers, a few avengers, malibu's and impalas. A few camary's and corrola's. No suv's, convertibles, or vans.

Good luck. mky:cutie:

can someone remind me of what car class i have to book to get emerald isle? i booked midsize is that right?

That's correct. But actually, once you log in under your emerald isle logon, the car choice will default to intermediate.

Side A Tues, 26th at around 2pm: Emerald Aisle had 5 or 6 minivans, couple of mid size SUVs, Impalas, HHR
I got a Grand Caravan with 11 miles on it. Very nice.

Remember seeing a Suburban, minivans, a convertible, sedans on the Executive Aisle

Will be there on the 13th - just booked last minute special for 125 for the week - plus taxes came out to 179. Let hope for a nice new car with low milage....and no smokers.

Rented on the B side Oct 23rd. We picked out a Dodge Avenger with 6000 miles. We didn't see any SUV'S or Mini-vans. There were plenty of sedans.
Avenger is a standard size...

Morning from BLT. We picked up on Oct. 31 @ noon, side A. We are Exec. Aisle members and they had a huge choice. This was a Sunday. There were many Siennas, a Ford Explorer, a Nitro?, and lots of sedans of every make and model. While waiting, we did check out the regular Emerald Aisle and they had many sedans, and a few small SUVs, and one T&C minivan. All of the Siennas were on the Exec. Aisle. The aisle was full. We took a new Sienna from the Exec. Aisle with 600 miles on it. I'll try to recheck when I drop off on Nov. 12. Bye, we're off to EPCOT today and then off to the Port tomorrow morning for the Disney Cruise.

Thanks! Have a great trip and cruise!

thinking of trying EA for a noon arrival on 12.9 (thus), Terminal A. Right now I have a full-size rented but I think I can get away with a mid-size if it doesn't work out!

We are EA Executive level members. We will be arriving at MCO at 10:30PM on Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011. There are 5 of us plus luggage so we definitely need a full size SUV or a minivan.

I forget what Executive level gets us as we haven't used it for awhile. Can anyone remind us??

Thanks!
