Ok, so I'm completely worthless at work. If they made the decisions last week, I wish they'd just send out the emails already!! I'm all for suspense, but grrrr!!!

In the meantime, I'm spending my time being worthless reading trip reports and listening to subsonicradio.com.

I'm going to do some ironing, then hang some new curtains. Then after an hour I'm going to make some coffee and will give my email a quick check. I just received an email from 'Disney' about Disney cruises - it made my heart stop for a second!

I'm going to act as if it's not that important .......

I'm working too, but after my 11:00 meeting, I'm going out for a run to work off some energy. I've been running the couch to 5k program -- so I can run with the mom's panel next year.... (as a member of course )

I have had about 3 cups of coffee and 2 Tootsie Roll Pops. No wonder I feel sick.

In about 15 minutes I need to go to my kids school to volunteer in DD's 4th grade classroom then off to the book fair which I helped organize. So no checking e-mails until 3:00 pm for me.

What was I thinking saying I would help today??? Well, at least DD is excited about me going into her classroom twice a week. I know I have to take it while I can as pretty soon she won't even want to be seen with me.

HA! I volunteer at the school store. At first my 7th grader was not so happy about it.. but she's come around... I just think of it as payback for the teenage years.... A little embarrassment never hurt anyone

back from the long weekend trip, we had a great time and we were VERY tired!!! We enjoyed spending the weekend with our granddaughter and she even enjoyed the Food and Wine Festival with us. Being 6 yrs old, we really didn't expect her to try some of the food, but she did.

Now just joining the waiting room again and "patiently" waiting for some kind of notification. I haven't been this nervous in years.

I have looked into it a little. No one has anything to offer that I have found so far. Home insurance is useless as well. They are wrapping up their report so that they can definitively deny us assistance.

Don't think of it that way... if 20,000 applied, we're already through with the worst of the stats... our initial probability was 1 in a 100, now we're down to 1 in 10! And if they take 20 folks to the final round it will be 1 in 2!

So, the hard part is over, at least that's how I'm looking at it!
