I don't think DCL will be sailing to Hawaii until after the Jones Act is repealed. Just too many hurdles to jump through while that law exists.

In January 2010 Princess is doing Hawaii cruises round trip from LA they are 14 or 15 nights (can't recall), and have a stop at Ensenada at the end of the cruise to meet the provisions of the Jones Act. Disney could do that too.

Here is an article that talks about the 4 ships being at Port Canaveral and the expansion of the dock area and the building of a parking deck and expanded check-in facilities to accomodate the increase in passengers. It doesnt' say how long that all 4 will be there but they will be for awhile anyway

Another vote for Alaskan cruises. I've read too many blah reviews about kid option on AK cruises. I've had friends take their kids on AK cruises, only to be sorely disappointed & even treated rudely be other guests who were unhappy to have too many children on board.

How about AK cruises w/ a land option in AK run by Disney Adventures??

AWE!!! A Disney cruise to Hawaii!??!?! That would be so.... I'd be there in 2.2 seconds!!! NO hesitation even from my hubby who took quite a bit of arm twisting to go along with this first cruise next year. the thought of a Disney cruise to Hawaii is like a dream of a lifetime for us. Well, a Disney cruise to Australia REALLY would be but that's dreamin'.

A med. cruise sounds massively cool as well. Can't wait to hear!!!

Just to clarify it actually says:-

the company will home port its two new ships in Port Canaveral

So as we knew, the TWO NEW ships will be based at PC, doesn'tdoesn't say where the two existing ones will be, so, all 4 at PC is not mentioned.
