2010 FW Plans made

We just booked two camping trips at FW for this year.
First one is Aug 8-15 and the second one is Dec 5-12. Although we have been camping at FW probably 100 times in my life, we have yet to go in Dec. My wife and I will be taking our kids in Dec. Any interesting or extra stuff going on in the fort in Dec?

Buy tickets for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and , of course, you have to get a Christmas hat of some sort to wear that night. Don't feel stupid, everyone does it.

Wow, 100 times. What year did you first go? How far away do you live from FW?

Decorate is right. The entire camp ground proudly displaces their disney christmas decorations. Also they have sleigh ride through the camp ground if you go a little later you get to see the decorations all lit up. I highly recommend it if you can do it. Have a great time!

My parents have been taking us there since we were little. i live about an hour and a half south of FW.

Do you really think MVMCP is worth the money? Went once, thought it was just ok.
Christmas hats sounds good though.

Unless you enjoy standing in a huge crowd listening to some director telling you to wave and cheer for a celebrity that is not there (they will tape their segment with no one there and everything will be dubbed together). Then also watch the same floats move forward a bit, then back, then forward a bit then back, it is NOT worth it!!!
