What exactly is food / wine ? I'm gonna be there in october, is there an admission charge or some kind of feed for this. Or is it just an outdoor open bar and food ?

Epcot is the location for this annual Festival. No "fee" but not as nearly as many "free" things as in previous years. Here's the link to Disney's information.

dont mean to thread hijack but if this is the case this overlaps my hopeful stay at BCV im hoping having ressies made for me 9/19-9/26 ( being booked at the 11 month mark) i really hope this doesnt screw me up !!!

although i was hoing F&W would be there when i was there

Get it throughout Epcot at ticket booths, Guest Relations, the Festival Welcome Center and a variety of locations in the theme park where food and merchandise are sold."

They are just Disney gift cards, you could also use your room key to charge if you are staying onsite.

The Festival is held the same time every year - from the last Friday in September through the first week of November.

They moved up the Flower & Garden Festival by a couple weeks for next year, so there's no guarantee it will stay the same.

Yes, it's on the back page of the 2009 Festival Guide which I received in the mail weeks ago.

"2010:

March 3-May 16 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival

April 24-June 7 Disney's California Adventure Food & Wine Festival

September 24-November 7 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival"

YAY!! You'll have a great time!! It's my annual MUST-DO!!!

Information should start leaking out around June so make sure you keep checking these boards! TDC Nala always has a thread on the Restaurant Board dedicated to the upcoming Food&Wine Festival -- she started this year's on 5/13/2009 and updates Post #1 often! It's a Sticky so always easy to find!
