Hi, I think you may struggle to get flights this far out, the main carriers (BA, Virgin etc) only release about 9 - 10 months in advance. I know when I was looking for Sept 09 I couldn't get prices till mid Oct 08. If you call them they may be able to help :thumbsup2

I booked with Thomas Cook in August for this October, so 14 months before, and I had the option for November too. Worth a try. :)

We've booked for May 2010 with Thomas Cook Signature, flying with Virgin.

We've done this as a package though and I can confirm that although we've been able to book our flights, they could not confirm any flight numbers - yet! The lady at the travel agents said it would be a couple more months before we get the confirmed numbers.

I booked our Dec Virgin flydrives 18 months out. They confirmed flight details when booked. Currently they are only showing upto the end of April. It would be worth ringing VH and asking when the flights are released.

Hey, my parents go every May and flights are usually for sale 11 months beforehand. Usually packages are available a lot further in advance.

If you're prepared to leave it a while you might be able to take advantage of the sales offered by BA and Virgin - my parents booked for this May last January and paid £450 each to Tampa with the BA winter sale.

The other way to get cheap flights is to change at an airport - Expedia have a range of flights available. I was considering joining them this May and when I looked last week flights were around £300 if I was prepared to change at somewhere like Chicago. That was to Tampa but Orlando flights were similarly priced.

Hope that helps, as you've got a while to plan its definitely worth shopping around :thumbsup2
