I have already have a reservation and paid my deposit but not with my Disney Visa. Will I have to pay another $200 and put it on the Disney VISA to get the fd?

If you haven't made any payments on your Disney Visa I would think they would need a deposit on it for a Disney Visa promotion. I don't know if my initial deposit was on my Disney Visa but I know I used it to pay quite a bit of payments last year so she just verified the last 4 digits and confirmed my change.

Has it been confirmed a GP will definitely be coming out? It seems not always there is a GP offer jsut because there was a DVISA offer. Just a little nervous still for the rest of us.......
This promo is offered by Disney, not Chase (DVisa), so I would "assume" the chances are very good that it will be offered to the GP. DVisa holders get it early as one of the "perks" to having the card.

yes. You have to put at least $200 of your trip on the DVisa

Many forums are now reporting that the GP is either Sunday or Monday.. can someone one the phone with a CM ask for sure? But I believe it has been posted a bunch of times back around page 110 of this thread that indeed the GP offer is coming in the next week or so..

Probably Sun or Mon.

My e-mails NEVER come through until the next day if that makes you feel better :)

Email confirmations are done in batches and can be significantly delayed from your conversation with the CM esp in peak periods like right now.

You will need to call and confirm what they need to execute the promo for you. You may need to cancel and rebook - not sure. They'll tell you for sure.

Hey guys! I am so excited!! I am booked for fd aug 15-26 :cheer2::cheer2:

However, I do have a question and need some help from the pros! I have a ressie for two rooms so they told me I had to get two reservations and that they would link the two. Heres the thing...I dont mind two deposits if that is what it needs to be...I just dont want to have to do everything twice..like check in and stuff like that. I wanted it to be all on one ressie and they said it couldnt be done... does that sound right or could it be done?? please help:flower3:

Just a quick note to say there was no FD for ASMu family suites in the second half of September. We could have gotten it if we moved our dates to the beginning of the month, but Labor Day would jack up the airline rates so it wouldn't have saved us any money. (FD would have knocked off another $250 or so.)

However, we had already applied the Disney Visa Kids Stay/Play/Dine free offer so that saved us $500. I'll attempt to be happy with that *lol*

:)

The double check in can be accomplished in one visit to the front desk when you arrive so that shouldn't take that long..

Otherwise yeah, it can't be done all on one ressie to the best of my knowledge. You will end up with two linked reservation numbers.

:woohoo:Thanks so much Knox!! I was able to apply
the code directly to my pre-existing ressies--no problems.
There were no waiting when I called. Thanks for listing the
Visa Code because DVisa still hasn't sent the email and when I went
to there reward site there is no mention of FD. Thanks again!!:yay::flower3:

I was asked if I had paid my Deposit with my DVisa Card and I had. I thought the CM would have that info.

OH NO! Was just told by CM that I can't get the free dining at CSR?!

Have been waiting so long...and was so excited to get through so quickly...and now this...?!

I don't know what to do. We spent so long choosing a resort.

I'm really sad about this.

Has this been true of CSR in the past?
Any ideas...please!? :guilty:

I got FD for our res. at CSR. We went through AAA but it should be no problem either way. Try again.

Again - CSR has convention rooms blocked.. Once the book-by date for those various groups has passed.. more rooms may open up.

A bunch of folks have booked around those groups and gotten dates at CSR for free dining.

This is probably an often asked question around here, so sorry for sounding dumb...I've never used the dining plan before...

I know my one year old doesn't cost anything and she'll just eat some of our food. Will the restaurants give us some juice/milk for her for free or will they charge? If they charge will they let us bring in our own?

The restaurants will give you juice/milk and most likely will charge. Maybe a restaurant may not charge, but that would be as a nice gesture, not because they have to. You can bring your own drinks no problem. We did this in Feb for our grandchild.

We had the exact same problem. The CM insisted that I make two different reservations. We need two rooms with two adults and five kids. I hated the idea of different ressies because I thought it could increase our chances of not getting an adjoining room.

I have never paid for a two room deposit, so I told the CM I had to think about it and called again. The new CM gladly made one reservations with two rooms. He even commented that the CM was trying to make quota or something.

Will we be able to upgrade from a value resort ( currently booked) to a Mod resort to get the Reg DDP free and use the SAME reservation #? ( on MOnday)

I had 2 rooms last time I went in Dec. It was under one ressie with one deposit. I was a little surprised. My friend ever went before and wanted me to make all the arrangements. They said we would have connecting rooms. All adults had to be there at check in.

I'm hoping someone can help me with my calculations here...

I just booked CSR for 8/25 to 8/29 with the 35% pin code offer. The website says the price for that should be $715, and my price was $466, so it's a $250 savings.

I'm not great with figuring out how much money I will spend on food so how can I figure out which of these offers is my best deal? It will be just DS13 and myself, and if paying OOP, we would probably split a couple TS meals.

What to do... what to do...

Will the dining plan save me more than $250 in four nights? Especially if Le Cellier is one of our reservations?

I just upgraded from Pop to CSR last night and my reservation number stayed the same. I also changed my dates when the 30/35/40 pin code came out and it stayed the same through that change as well.

I hadn't even thought of that.. !

Sneaky!

I called a CM about when the GP will get FD. I kept grilling and grilling and grilling - because she sounded like she wanted to tell me. She said it will be soon but she is not allowed to say when. It will be "few" days later, but it will be "soon" - within the next week. She said it would be advertised on TV and the websites. They have an "iffy" date, but nothing is concrete. I said "so I'll just tell everyone to call Monday", she said "that we be great - we'd be glad to assist them".

I also asked her if there is a seperate block of rooms for the GP. She said she honestly doesn't know the answer to that question, but that is the advantage of having a DVisa. Sorry, couldn't get anything else out of her!
