I have ordered the disney DVD but it will only let me order it from the Australian/NZ site, and looking at it I don't think disney offers these codes to us Aussies? From what I have read on here unless you put down a USA address. Never know disney magic might come my way?????

I think we can get them, but there are a lot more people from the states on this website, so due to the law of averages it seems that more ppl from the states get pins over anywhere else... If that makes sense...

Been to all the values and love them all. I haven't been to Movies in a few years as I have heard it is in need of a refurb. We are going with Music this year. We have been there a few times and have always enjoyed it!! :goodvibes :goodvibes
Thanks.....I did see where the complaints were from the Movie resort. So, if I can't get POP....than I will see about the All Star Music.

I don't know why I worry where I stay....we are ONLY in our rooms to sleep, shower and you know what else.

The next discount to be announced should include the Disney Dining Plan. We’ve heard it will appear for Disney Visa cardholders around April 29, and the general public May 2. Travel dates should begin around August 15 (the day after the current discounts end). No word on the end travel date, but we expect it to be very late September or very early October, as it has been in the past.
We’re hearing conflicting details about the dining offer itself. Two sources says the offer will be scaled back (one says “drastically”) from last year. We interpret this to mean that everyone using this offer will get the Quick Service plan by default – including guests staying at deluxe resorts – and can use that discount towards purchasing the standard dining plan. However, one other source thinks the free dining offer will be the same as last year’s (Quick Service at value resorts, standard plan at moderates and deluxes). If we hear more we’ll let you know.
Well....I am staying at a Value...so if I have to upgrade, it is no biggie. Thanks for the info.

Odds are that if the rumors are true and only QSDP is offered at value resorts, plenty of ADR's will be canceled. We are only going for 3 nights, and I booked Tutto Italia and the Plaza (new) and 50's PTC (repeat), and I only booked them in case I got free dining. However I will be more than happy with QSDP since we are going to be having such a short trip, so I will be canceling all 3 once I know for sure. So there is hope!

If QS is only offered at resorts I think most that are going will upgrade to FD. It is so inexpensive to upgrade. I dont think you will see much canceled.

Rumor....but to quote the article, it reads as follows.....

I think they are misinterpreting the 'scaled back' part.. The way that was explained to me was on any given dates there would be fewer rooms at the resorts and probably fewer resorts with any availability.

I could be wrong - but that's how it was explained to me.

You're using a Magic 8 Ball aren't you? AREN'T YOU?! :lmao:

LOL! I am thinking that there is a good chance that FD will be offered to the Values as well. The reason is...we are booked at the HRH at US/IOA from October 1-October 8. Because of their promotion we got a room there for $131 per night. The HRH is the same as a deluxe resort at Disney. When you look at room only prices for Pop Century for that same time frame...the first two nights are $130 per night and the rest are $120 per night. So to lure those away from Harry Potter for the fall...I would hope that Disney would look at that as a real comparison. A value resort costing almost exactly what a 4 star hotel costs that offers FOTL to all of the rides? Seems like a no brainer to me. But then again...what do I know?:lmao:

The only problem with this article is that last year the value resorts were given FD not QSFD. We went last year and stayed at Pop Century and we had FD. I know the later promo last year offered QSFD to values, but the fall promo was FD for all resort guests.

Seriously, I asked him specifically about this and first he was like "how did you know that???" :rotfl: and then he specifically said there would be 2 different levels.

I was going to call him back and ask if he actually knew the codes, but I feel a bit guilty because I actually never use his agency anymore. But now that I've asked, if and when he gets more info, I'm sure he'll call or email me.

Funny you should ask.. this week - it's General Hospital -- Will Sonny go to jail to protect his son Michael in Claudia's death? Will Dante give his brother up to the prosecutor to testify against his father Sonny? And what IS Skye doing in town?:lmao:

Actually, besides the citizens of Port Charles, Lynne and I have both been busy on the new MUG FAQ and the POOL FAQ threads posted on the main forum. Check 'em out.

Also, I wrote a very detailed post on how not to pull out all your hair while booking ADRs.. I think it's on page 52 of this thread. :)

The only problem with this article is that last year the value resorts were given FD not QSFD. We went last year and stayed at Pop Century and we had FD. I know the later promo last year offered QSFD to values, but the fall promo was FD for all resort guests.

The Aug/Sept to early Oct was the FULL dining plan at all resorts.. but the extensions past Oct 2 or 3 thru December were only QS at the values and full at the mods and deluxes.

Hence the confusion. And boy is it easy to confused with this stuff.

Did you happen to hear which resorts would have reduced or (God forbid!) no availability?

Wait a second, isn't Michael like 11?

*SHOULD THAT PROVE TO BE TRUE* -- all of them would supposedly have less inventory. SUPPOSEDLY.

But that is a big SHOULD at the start of that sentence and an equally big supposedly at the end.. Nobody panic til the offer is released.

Panic pillows and breathing apparatus will be distributed on May 3 to assist those in full blown attacks. ;)

In real years.. yea something like that.. In soap opera "super fast aging so we can get them interesting plotlines" -- he just turned 18.

Fun.

I think I will need a set, maybe two (one for backup) on May 3rd!:scared:

Interesting!! My travel agent is saying QS for value and moderates and a dumbing down of desert in 2011 :scared1:
Guess they have an updated I pad 8 ball !

Will they be available on the 29TH for DV members, if it is released that day? i think I may need one. ;)

Because of their early booking status, DVISA cardholders will ONLY be assigned a paper bag to prevent hyperventilation.

Other than, you're on your own. :confused3

HAHA :lmao:
