does anyone know how i can go back and look at the dining ressies I made. I deleted the confirmation email I got...but now I dont know how to go on Disney website and find my ressies UGH

Yes - you need to go to My Disney Vacation (on the top icon bar - little Mickey suitcase) and choose Dining Reservations. You'll get a screen where you can input your reservation # and phone # and your reservation will pull up. If you don't have your ressie #, you may have to call Disney to get it - I don't know that there's a way to retrieve it without the #.

If you have your heart set on a villa, you might look at renting points from a Disney Vacation Club owner. There is a DVC forum here on the Dis. Epcot's Food & Wine Festival starts the 1st of October though and I've heard that the villas are usually full during that time. Then again, this year has been a little different, travel-wise!

You might want to look at renting 2 connecting rooms at a deluxe or moderate resort. These rooms will almost certainly have some type of discount for fall. Disney says they cannot guarantee connecting rooms but we've had them every time we've asked.

If you are registered at the official Disney website, and/or have ordered the planning DVD's, maps etc. you might try calling the Disney CRO (central reservations office) and asking if you have a discount code already associated with your name ( a PIN code!).

Hope that helps a little!
Thanks tiki23,
You guys are so great, I love that you all share in the magic of disney. I wish we had one here in Australia and wouldn't have to travel so far. But then again, we love your country so good excuse to go! I have thought about renting points, but I am scared because there is so much trust on the person you are renting them of with no security. Travelling so far away as well....it would play on my mind until we were actually in the villa we paid for. Maybe getting two rooms together would be the better option if they bring out room discounts for sept/oct??? Fingers crossed hey! I have ordered the disney DVD but it will only let me order it from the Australian/NZ site, and looking at it I don't think disney offers these codes to us Aussies? From what I have read on here unless you put down a USA address. Never know disney magic might come my way?????

I was playing around with the Disney dining reservation site the other day and tried to rebook my ADRs, just out of curiosity to see if they were available. The only one that was no longer available was Le Cellier, so there is a lot of availability for our dates at least. I am sure that will change once the FD announcement comes out, if it comes out.

I don't know if anybody mentioned this yet or not regarding free dining......

Yesterday, I received a notification from touringplans.com (by the same people who wrote the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World) that Disney Visa card holders will receive the free dining promotion beginning on April 29th :yay:and everyone else on May 3rd :yay:(as previously rumored). Fingers crossed, toes crossed, legs crossed, and eyes crossed.....feeling like a pretzel:eek:......can't wait.

Thanks everyone... POP is my first choice, but I know how fast that resort goes so I was looking at my back up. All Star Sports doesn't appeal to me, so it will be between Movies and Music. Thanks.:thumbsup2

Been to all the values and love them all. I haven't been to Movies in a few years as I have heard it is in need of a refurb. We are going with Music this year. We have been there a few times and have always enjoyed it!! :goodvibes :goodvibes

Heres another SILLY question...lets say FD is offered and its The REG Dining Plan for all Resort Levels....is it possible to just opt for the QSDP instead and get that free?

Interesting, did it state that it was a rumor or did it just say it will be offered?

The next discount to be announced should include the Disney Dining Plan. We’ve heard it will appear for Disney Visa cardholders around April 29, and the general public May 2. Travel dates should begin around August 15 (the day after the current discounts end). No word on the end travel date, but we expect it to be very late September or very early October, as it has been in the past.
We’re hearing conflicting details about the dining offer itself. Two sources says the offer will be scaled back (one says “drastically”) from last year. We interpret this to mean that everyone using this offer will get the Quick Service plan by default – including guests staying at deluxe resorts – and can use that discount towards purchasing the standard dining plan. However, one other source thinks the free dining offer will be the same as last year’s (Quick Service at value resorts, standard plan at moderates and deluxes). If we hear more we’ll let you know.

Rumor....but to quote the article, it reads as follows.....

Ours will be for dinner@ 5:20.... but will be at Epcot all day.

Dinner should be nice, with my 2 little ones dinners were too hard last year. We are doing a lot of lunches this year. We will be at Epcot till about 2pm that day and then back to the resort for some RR! I just added Mickey's BBQ(for that night) , since there is no MNNSHP while were are at WDW. The kids loved it last year!

Our trip is a bounceback so we already have free dining. I just made our Adr's yesterday with no problems. Most we got our times within 10-15 minutes.

I found the article. I can't copy and paste, because it is against disboard rule, I think. But basically it is just a rumor just like here. Starting date around Aug 15TH and ending date somewhere in late Sept to early Oct. It was heard that all levels of resorts may only get QSDP. Others are rumoring QS for values regular for others. No rumors reported of regular dining plan for all. I think it is all a wait and see.
