Thank you. I was flying into Canada all day and came on here real quick to see if anything was going on - and after 5 pages of flight information, I decided to give up looking!

If there's five pages of discussion not related to FD...it's probably because we need something to keep ourselves from going insane.

You don't know how lucky you are! I just booked airfare to Disney and it cost me $2500 roundtrip for two adults and two children and that's with seat sales......10 times as much!!!! I am sooo envious

Which is why we don't use Air Canada...I live 5 minutes from the Fredericton Airport - the fare last September was $785 per person - so we did the 3 hour drive to Bangor, ME and flew for $202 CDN per person (and the dollar was only at 89 cents US). That's what happens when there's a lack of competition....but I'm going back to Disney, even if I have to drive to Portland...

Did you see?? Jet Blue coming to BDL in November!!! Could not be happier about this!

although playing with dates shows the only good fares are on Tues/Wed and only the early flights home. But I am happy for another option at BDL.

Oh, and I have a semi-hurricane encounter!!!

That's what it would cost us from Saskatchewan...that's why we have decided to drive. I cuts the cost in half.

We seem to be one of the crazy few who drive. We drive straight through from Central Iowa to Orlando, takes us about 21 to 22 hours, with 6 of us it is extrmemly cheaper than flying. I know it's not for everyone but with movies, Ipods, and phones it's not like it used to be!!

We are going to drive from Saskatchewan, Canada and it will take us 36 - 40 hours but it is much cheaper than flying and it will be nice to see places we have never been...even if we are just passing by.
