Got in right away at 7 and was able to book:
Taste, Shake, Indulge Like the French on 10/30
Signature Dining at Fultons on 11/11
Signature Dining at Bongos on 11/10
PFTS on 10/30 and 11/6

Good luck to everyone! The CM I had was wonderful, she booked all the events first, then took my CC and gave the speech on dress, transportation, etc

I'm on hold also!! Was told 6 minutes...I'm stressing because I really hope to get the Wine School with Andrea Robinson! Every second that passes makes me afraid I won't get it! F&W Pairing at Tutto is our back up but I'm afraid we'll miss that too!

OMG I am going crazy...I've been on the phone with a cast member who wasn't signed into her account, and is now waiting for a reply...for 8 minutes!!!

Wine School with Andrea Robinson on 10/16
French Regional Lunch on 10/17.
The call was lots easier than I was expecting and the agent was terrific.

Got right in at 7:00! Got Food & Wine pairing at Morroco on 10/12; Taste, Shake & Indulge on 10/16; and Disney's Dessert Discovery on 10/21. We're all set, now the countdown begins.

I called the Festival number, too and got the 5 minute wait estimate which was maybe 10 minutes total from the time the phone was answered in the first place. My CM was great. She said it was really busy this morning so the system was slow in pulling up the PFTS event but booking was very smooth. That was the last thing for me to do for this trip for ADRs so I'm happy!

Called right at 7 a.m. and was the CM's first call of the day Actually got to hear the music that plays as the CMs start their day

Was able to get:
Food and Wine Pairing at Tutto on 10/9
3D - Disney Dessert Discovery on 10/8

Transaction took all of 15 minutes!

Loved that the CM could put items in my cart and then read the information to me at the end and then process my credit card!

CM said they had LOTS of people answering the phones today as they knew it would be busy as soon as the opened

I connected right at 7, was told my wait time was 5 minutes, and actually got through in 8 minutes.

Celebrating Family & Friends in the Kitcken w. Andrew Zimmern 10/22
Sweet Sundays 10/24

I had wanted the Signature Dinner at the Wonders Retreat, but was told there was no availability, so I went with my second choice, the one at California Grill, and it was available.

I'm wondering if it will be more casual this year. The dress code is no swim attire and no tank tops for men according the CM who read the party facts to me this morning. Doesn't sound like cocktail party attire if that's the only requirement!

We're scaling back (no PTFS with wine view this year, sigh) - Booked the 3D Dessert on 10/15, Taste Shake and Indulge 10/16 amd French Regional lunch 10/23.

Can anyone who booked the French Regional lunch confirm the price they were charged? My wife said it was like $242 for two people which I don't think is right...isn't it supposed to be $95 pp plus tax?

First time got right in, call dropped. now still on hold over 20 min so far, said it was 30 min when I dialed back in. So now I'm patiently until they answer.

Got in right at 7:00... 2 minute wait. The computers crashed while we were booking PFTS but came right back up.

I just got the three events I wanted to book. The CM I got on the phone had never worked F&W booking morning before and had no clue what was going on. I walked her through it and was patient.

Everything I was booking this day was for Saturday October 9. Our daughters had the Tequila Tasting while my DH and I do the Tutto Italia Pairing. That evening our daughters and I are doing the Party for the Senses.

Done!

Sadly - over the past couple years, people were dressing up less and less anyway.

I tried asking mine to do this per the tip in this thread, and she said she couldn't proceed to the next screen without reading it after booking each event. Not a big deal, but a classic example of Disney's "Ask a Different CM, Get a Different Answer"!

My 30+ minute wait was more like 15.

But I thought I had Brenda's Sleestak cast member on the phone because first she wanted my resort reservation number, which she pulled up by my name and phone number. Gah.

Then she couldn't figure out when I told her I want the food and wine festival event "Culinary Adventures in Signature Dining" at the Wave, giving her the date. Then she actually found it and the light bulb turned on.

She found the French Regional Lunch and the Wine School. So now I have all three booked. Stressful, ain't it?

I am trying for the same Wine School...I got to the point where I gave cc info and then the CM was kicked out of her system!! She is trying to get back in now to double check if it was confirmed or not...she's a bit nervous also!! She can't pull up my itinerary!!! She's so nice but...I'm so nervous!

You are so right. I asked my CM the same thing and she said no problem. She waited until the end and then went through them all.
