I was surprised and happy to see Chris Colfer nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his work as Kurt on Glee!

With the exception of Holland Taylor, the Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy list reads as my ideal group of women to drink fruity drinks and shop for shoes with.

Uh oh - I'm torn between Jim Parsons in Big Bang Theory and Matthew Morrison in Glee for actor in a comedy...

SO glad jim parsons got nominated for best actor in a comedy series from "the big bang theory"! that is the funniest TV show i've ever seen! if anyone hasn't seen it, i'd highly recommend renting the previous seasons.

I think the boy who plays Manny on Modern Family should have been nominated! He's great. I think Julie Bowen was nominated for supporting was because the cast all agreed to put themselves in that category.

SO happy to see Modern Family recognized. I just LOVE that show.

I love True Blood and Dexter so I'm excited to see who will come out on top! Comparision of the two shows and their Emmy noms fearnet.com/news/b19522_emmy_death_match_dexter_vs_true_blood.html

I am REALLY hoping Steve Carell wins for The Office. I think he is just amazing and am so surprised he hasn't won yet.

Happy to see Chris Colfer nominated from Glee, although I doubt he'll take the category. Also happy to see his dad on the show nominated for a guest star.:thumbsup2

I would also like to see Kristen Wiig win best supporting actress.

Where's Parker! "The Future Job" alone showed she's more than the odd one of Leverage.

Surprises: The Good Wife for Best Drama; Glee for Best Comedy; Matthew Fox for Best Actor; Sharon Gless for Best Supporting Actress; Archie Punjabi for Best Supporting Actress; Julie Bowen for Best Supporting Actress (but only because I think she should be considered a lead)

Anti-Surprises: Lost for Best Drama
Awesome - I've been watching the Burn Notice marathon all day (and don't think she ever got the notice she deserved in "Cagney & Lacey").

Thanks for the link, bicker - I can never find the right year!

I do believe you're right - I can't remember where, but I did read that somewhere.

Let's see...Alec Baldwin will win his category and Glee will win all the others they are nominated for. Dramas... That's harder...

No! Tony Shalhoub!!! Everybody else can win some other year! But there's no more Monk!

Rooting for Chris Colfer and Sharon Gless for supporting!
