Hello,

We had planned on going in early March however, due to work commitments we may have to go late april instead?

Can anyone advise me if they have been on either of these dates?

I know spring break happens and easter etc but would the 23rd of April be much bussier than 4th March?

I would say late April would be busier BUT I have been at Easter (spring break) several times and the crowds were fine. Last year I visited Universal/IOA/Sea World over spring break and we never waited more than 20 minutes for anything.

Personally I would go late April because the weather will be better. I wore jeans and a jumper for the first 3 days we were in Orlando last Easter :sad2:

If you are looking to go after Easter I wouldn't think there will be much difference crowd wise.

Weather will be warmer in April - we went in March this year and the evening were still chilly.

Spring break will make the crowds heavier in March too - there were more people in March this year than when we went middle of April the year before for DH birthday.

We are going end of April/start of May next year too :thumbsup2

From my experience early March is quieter than late April.

However, Disney have done another buy x get x for Jan thru March and that could skew things and make it busier.

Just checked the Crowd calendar and Early March is mostly 5s where as late April more likely averages out around 7s (this was from a cursory glance, I haven't done math on this).

Late March/early April is a very bad time to go though, the lowest are 7s and it regularly goes up into the 9s.

The 2 times I have been before I have ony ever been late April early May & haven't really found it that busy to be honest but then I don't really have another time to compare it to.

I would definitely go late April.

The weather in March we found to be very unpredictable and often on the cool side, especially in the morning's.

Crowds late April shouldn't be that bad, and the weather is ideal. Temperatures tend to be in the low 80s but you don't get that humidity of the summer and not too much rainfall either.

April 19th - 23rd 2010 is the week that most (and I use the word most not all) of the New England states have off from school. I have been during this week and will be doing so again. I am leaving MA on 21st. It could be VERY bust the end of this week but with a good plan of action it should be fine:)

Good luck and Happy Planning:)
