2010 Disney Brides - When is your wedding?

We are getting married at WP on March 25. Reception at GF Ballroom, Wishes wedding. I'm new to all this, and a little slow but getting around the sight and receiving a lot of useful info.

It's kinda funny, we are unofficially already engaged. We have already set a date of June 19, 2010. We will be having our wedding here at home then off to Disney World for a fantastic honeymoon or disneymoon rather! I say unofficially cause he hasn't formally proposed yet with the ring, but I'm pretty sure he's already bought it, and it's gonna happen soon. But yeah, everything is pretty much set. He just wants to surprise me with the ring and the official proposal! Not very many June weddings or disneymoons on here yet either!

My date is October 1, 2010. I'm a Disneyland Bride and new to this. No PJ yet as I really have nothing planned other then the date and that it's at Disneyland. I feel like such a lameo when I read PJs for weddings farther out then mine and already have everything planned, but then I'm so thankful b/c their info/ideas are amazing! :)

Dec 18, 2010!!! My fiance and I are so excited. Does anybody else hate the waiting process??

Im just hoping we get that date with out any problems! Has anyone had a problem or am I over "freaking out" lol

I HAAAAAAATed the waiting process. First to get penciled in, and then to get the contract back. *Sheesh!* LOL. I was def. worried about getting our date, esp. when Heidi wanted back up times but I didn't want to have any the next day, lol. We got it tho'! just had the time slot later than our #1 choice, but w/e :)

I absoloutly hate it! It seems to me that most people are going for weddings during the week and I am having a Saturday night wedding. I am planning on sending out save the dates after I get my date and time for the wedding pavillion bc I am sticking with my date even if I cant have the GF ballroom. What do you think?

Yea, my&DF's is on a Monday and I know I've seen a lotta' people saying theirs are on weekdays too. As long as you're sticking w/the date, that seems fine, and if that date's more important to you than the reception location, then that's cool too. I know my&DF's ceremony location was more important to me than the reception one.

Yeah I hated the waiting process also. I was freaking out. But everything worked out at the end. So i hope yours works out also. :tinker:

Thanks all for the help! The ceremony place is the only thing I care about. The Wedding Pavillion is my dream since I was a little girl, and I dont care if I have to get married at 7 at night or 7 in the morning as long as its there and my fiance is there lol then that is all that matters to me! O I LOVE WEDDING PLANNING!!!!
