I realize this may be a 'hated' question, but I'd love to hear some predictions on post June travel deals to WDW. I know this is all based on room occupancy at the resorts, but is there a feeling free dining or room discounts will be made available for the summer months? Here's my personal dilemma: we've stayed at the Wilderness Lodge for our past 4 visits, but to save money this year, we're considering Port Orleans, either Riverside or French Quarter. Problem is, I love the Lodge, and would rather stay there, but for our travel in late August (18th-25th) the savings would be about $100 per night. That's a lot of bread!

Any thoughts would be very much appreciated!!:thumbsup2

I loved French quarter!!! it is so beautiful but fun at the same time!!

I think they usually do the free dining in August - Sept/Oct. We went in 07 around your dates and had the free dining but I"m not sure what's changed. I thought I saw a post somewhere that said they release the free dining already.

POFQ has it's own perks. You can ride a Ferry to Dtd. They have a pizza window, this saved us a ton of money with our older boys. You can walk over to POR and use there food court, if you get sick of the food court at POFQ. Free entertainment at POR when Bob plays. I think you should give it a try. We never had problems with the busses, either.
