2010 DDP list from Disney?

Yeah, I had some moments of hyperventilating last night. Thanks for calming me down. I am just going to make my ADRs for January like they are DDP restaurants and if it turns out they aren't it is January and hopefully it won't be so busy I can't get some later on.

I hope this is the case. Some of the good ones are missing. Making ADRs would become even more of a nightmare, people fighting for even fewer spots.

Prices for the Deluxe Dining Plan did not change in 2010. $71.99 per night for adults, $20.99 per night for children.

The current restaurant list for the 2010 deluxe plan is exactly the same list as for the basic plan. Keep in mind that it is not a complete list.

Since Disney is RUMORED to be cutting some restaurants from its Dining Plan.. has it convinced anyone NOT to get the plan? We aren't this year because they cut Le Chefs de France, Teppan Edo, Tutto Italia and lots of others we always eat at. Which is fine with us.. what does everyone else think of this? (the one i am sad about is that Earl of Sandwich and Wolfgang Puck Express might not be accepted as well)

Are you saying the ones listed are not on the plan for 2009? Because I made reservations for Teppan Edo for December and it said they were on the meal plan???

Just combined all three threads that were asking the same question about the 2010 Dining Plan Participating Restaurants.

As has been posted several times, by different posters, waiting for the final list happens every year, and isn't a cause for concern.

As far as can be determined Disney is not cutting any restaurants from the dining plan. The missing restaurants (which are not run by Disney - that's why they're currently missing) will, in all likelihood, be returned to the 2010 list at the end of 2009 when their contracts for 2010 are finalized.

If (and it's a big if) any do drop out, it would be because the restaurant's owner/operator preferred not to accept the dining plan, not because Disney is cutting them from it. Disney WANTS as many restaurants as possible on the dining plan.

I was looking for something at DTD but there are only 2 places listed - FoodQuest & Cap’n Jack’s Restaurant - now I don't know what I want to do for the day I was planning at DTD.

I ate at Tutto Italia on 29 september and it was on the dining plan then. I also had a breakfast and lunch on the 5th October at Wolfgang Puck Express using dining credits so they are still on the dining plan as well. Here is a list of the 2009 dining choices at Epcot

If you check the last few years' threads, you'll find a discussion about when the full list typically has been released. I really don't remember, but November somethingorother rings a bell. While you might see individual restaurants added over the next month or so, I think you'll see the big change posted four or five weeks from now.
